Well, I originally was going to have this as "Jonas Brothers Fanfiction Archive Exclusive Fanfic" meaning that I wasn't going to post it on here.
But then I thought, what the heck? Give it a try on here!
Who knows, maybe they'll like it on here too!
So...
that little voice in my head has convinced me to go ahead and post it here, too!
haha
So, feedback is appreciated :D
Thanks!!
Chapter One:
For those of you who are reading this, you probably have a disease called Obsessive Jonas Disorder, O.J.D. for short.
For all of you who don’t know what it is, where have you been for the past year and a half? Under a rock?
O.J.D. is affecting millions around the world, and continues to grow rapidly. It is unstoppable, actually, and once you catch this infectious disease, there is no cure (of course, I don’t actually understand why you’d want a cure). This disease will take over your mind, body, and thoughts. You will turn into one of the many Jonas Brothers fans across the world. There are many of us, and we’re taking over the world one day at a time (no pun intended).
As you probably have already been able to tell, I myself have this disease. I have been a fan since the days of “Mandy” (again, if you are a fan, you’d know exactly who and what Mandy is…) and will continue to be until the world ceases to existence (or I die. Whichever comes first).
Now, there are several stages of O.J.D., versions, and levels of seriousness. I will go over all of them in this book, covering all the details. I myself have a quite heavy case of this. Not the extreme to the point of breaking into their house, but the level bellow that (which, like I said, I shall tell you about).
If you are reading this, you are one of four things:
· A Fan (several levels of exactly what a fan is)
· A Fan In Training
· An Not So Sure Yet If You Are A Fan
· Just Some Random Person Reading This Book
So, take your pick! Which one are you?
By the end of this book, you’ll probably be hooked on these boys. I’ll tell you how to survive O.J.D., for those newly diagnosed and those who’ve been diagnosed for a while. I’ll tell you what you can do about it, how to break it to your friends, and what to do about your family…plus more.
Hopefully you will love these three boys from Jersey as much as many other girls do when you’re done reading this. Either that, or this will have no affect on you what-so-ever, and you’ll sell this book to a half price bookstore or on eBay. Which, doesn’t really bother me; I’m not losing anything from it…
Any affects this book has on you are not my fault. You have picked this book up, and you have begun to read it. I can not be held liable for any of this.
If you become a fan, hard core obsessed, that is great! If this has no affect on you, whatever. I don’t really care.
If you do things you’ve never done before…like screaming when a certain song comes on the radio, recording every thing that has to do with these three boys whenever you can on your TV, buying concert tickets (no matter what price), joining so many fan-sites that you can’t keep up with all the ones you’ve joined, commenting the band’s MySpace whenever you can, calling their SayNow, watching YouTube videos 24/7, and more, then that is good! Well, for a fan it would be, at least. You’d have all the right symptoms.
If you didn’t have most of these things, something may be wrong with your case of O.J.D. It’s better for your O.J.D. to get worse, than to lose anything about it. I know that may sound wrong now, but by the end of this book, you will know that you want your O.J.D. to get worse, which is better. Again, like I said, this will all make sense by the end of this if it hasn’t already clicked [which, for many of you it already has].
So all in all, this book will sum up O.J.D. for you.
And hopefully, like I said, you will, by the end of this, also have O.J.D.
That’s all for chapter one.
Stay tuned for chapter two (or I guess you could just turn the page, I just felt like saying stay tuned for it since I’m an amazing Jonas fan like that).
-Your O.J.D. Expert
P.S.
If you are the Jonas Brothers, you may be shocked by the material in this book. The things we fans go through with this disease are hard to handle, shocking, crazy, and what you may call “extreme”. I can assure you, some of our families are quite…well, if you were my sister, you’d say you were ‘freaked out’ by this disease, since it’s an obsession on a boy band. But, you Jonas Brothers aren’t just some boy band that’ll fizzle out or break up in a couple years like *NSYNC or Dream Street.
No, no, no. You boys, are legendary.
~Meanwhile~
“Hey, guys, look at this.” Joe said, picking up a book at Barnes And Noble.
“What?” I asked, sipping my Starbucks drink.
“It’s one of those dummies books.” He said, flipping though the pages.
“Oh, you want us to buy it for you Joe?” Kevin laughed.
“Haha. Very funny. They have some weird books though.” Joe said.
“Yeah, I know. Some awkward stuff too.” I agreed.
“Well, look at this one. It’s how to deal with O.J.D. You know, that disease that our fans have or whatever.” He said.
“Oh, Obsessive Jonas Disorder?” Kevin asked.
“Yeah, that.” Joe laughed.
“Let me see that.” I said, taking the book from Joe.
I opened up to the first chapter, briefly reading it over. Kevin grabbed it from me before I could read the rest.
“Hey!” I immediately said.
“What? I wanna look too!” Kevin whined, and started to flip through the book.
Kevin chuckled to himself as he read parts of the book.
“This is really funny, the things this chick says to do. We should like, buy this or something.”
I laughed. “Okay, cool. I’ll get it.”
We casually walked out of the Barnes and Noble Bookstore, and I couldn’t stop thinking about how I actually wanted to read this book so much. I wanted to really know what went on in the minds of our fans…what they thought of us for real, what they thought was going on with us in our minds, and all those fan sites where they write about us and stuff…exactly what they thought when they wrote those things and more.
My mind continued to wonder, thinking of flipping through the pages of the book reading it piece by piece.
