Chapter 1 Lauren's Shnazy POV "I wanna get back, to the old days, where the phone would ring, and i knew it was you!" I sang. My name's Lauren and I'm 13. And I love Demi Lovato and the jonas brothers. Oops! I forgot Selena Gomez! Well, this is me and my best friend or practically sister Aaryn's story. Well, lets go back to the begining. Ever since I could remember, life was hard for me. I came from South Hollywood. I'm lucky to be alive. I had gotten used to the drive by shootings and stuff like that. One day on the radio, I heard a song called Year 3000. I loved it! I went online and googled them. I found out everything about them! They were really good guys! Unfortunatly, I couldn't go to a concert because we didn't have enough money. Well, I found this fansite called Jonasbrothersfan.com. I started talking to this girl named Aaryn. She was super nice! And, she lived in Santa Monica, California. So she was close! I felt like a had a real friend! One day, my auntie gave me tickets to go see the Jonas Brothers! And guess what? Aaryn was going too! We decided we were gonna meet at a local starbucks before the concert. We met there and we had so much in common still! Like, nothing was fake! After, when we were driving home from the concert, tragity struck. My auntie got a call. The police had called and said my parents, were in fact. Dead. My parents were dead. They were killed in a shooting for a gang initiation. I cried my eyes out. Aaryn offered to let me stay with her. From then on, we became like sisters. This is the story of how me and my best friend fell in love with the same guy. And dated him.

“Oh snap!” I yelled as I walked into the cold apartment. Why the heck was the air conditioner on? Lauren. She was always hot, which meant she always had to have the air conditioner on which meant I would have to deal with freaking to death. But that was fine. I shared this apartment with her, I walked into the living room where I found Lauren sitting on the floor, using the coffee table as a table to do her homework on. She didn’t look up from whatever she was working on until she was completely done with whatever she was doing. Our eyes met, I gave her a gaze that said ‘bring it on’ at the same time we both darted for the computer, this happened every day, when I got home from work, Lauren usually was just finishing up the last part of her homework. But unlike normal I didn’t win this time, me being the klutz that I am slipped when my sock hit the wood flooring and stubbed my toe. Lauren burst out laughing, and after complaining about my toe I too started laughing. We were crazy, but that’s just the way we roll! “Ren!” I wined “I want the computer!” “use your laptop.” she smirked “no its dead!” “well then charge it ding a ling.” she usually called me this when I was being dumb or crazy. I sighed deeply and went to sit on the couch which was positioned by the computer, and flipped on the TV I screamed. “what? AWE!” Lauren screamed when she saw who was on the TV… the Jonas Brother specifically Nick; we were both in love with Nick Jonas so i know that was short. but you know! lol comments??? make me happpy! and lauren u need to update ASAP! =D lol
