Hope you likey. This is a fan fiction about something that goes on in life. Something that I haven't been through yet, but yeah. Also...I guess this sorta goes with Flyleaf's Sorrow. Not sure.

Sorrow
by Luna D'Torret
I suppose...that in this world, pain is inevitable. Or, at least, it was for her. I watched her closely each day, as the heartbreak destroyed her. As pain took over her body. Each time she saw that I watched her, she painted a fake smile over her sorrow. Both her parents had died in a hostage situation at a local bank. She was an only child and had no other family. The government decided to leave her to the closest thing she had to family...us. I had watched her face, that day, as she answered the phone, turn from pure glee to agony. I watched as the tears rolled down her face, smearing her eye make up. As she hung up the phone, she sunk to the ground.
"No." she whispered, "No."
I rushed to her side. She immediately curled against me. I wrapped my arms around her and ran my hand up and down her back. This seemed to calm her down.
"What happened?" I whispered.
"Mom...Dad....gone..."She whispered in between sobs.
"It's okay." I said, although, I wasn't sure if that was true, "It's gonna be alright."
"I don't know..." she said, sniffling.
"Yes it is." I said.
She stood up.
"No it isn't Nick!!!" she screamed, "My world has officially come crashing down around me!!!"
My mom came in to see what all the commotion was just as she stormed out of the door.
*end of flashback*
I watched her closely now. Examining her every move. She greeted each one of the people at the party with a smile and a hug or hand shake. Inbetween guests, her smile would turn back into the frown that seemed to always be on her face. She stole a glance in my direction and caught me staring. As if it was magic, she painted the fake smile on her face again. As soon as I turned away, though, I knew that smile would disappear into the deep, dark, depths of nothingness. I stood, still watching her, leaned against a wall as the music pulsed though the building. She came over to me.
