Here's my part. Hope you girls like it.
CHAPTER 2
Alexis’ POV
I was lying on my bed after Matt, Eric and Jake left and us girls said our good nights. I couldn’t believe that I was back in LA again, living with Kellie and Kerry. Having those two girls around surely made me cope with my homesickness. Our new co-stars seemed like really great guys, they made us laugh and they were so easy to talk to. It looks like it would be easy to work with them. Unfortunately, I can’t help but wish that Nick, Kevin and Joe were still here to work on the second season with us. And I’m sure that Kells and Kerr were feeling the same way.
Speaking of Nick, I don’t really know what we are right now. I mean, during Georgina’s party, I was caught off guard when Nick suddenly kissed me and asked me to be his girlfriend. I quickly agreed, not realizing that we were both leaving the next day and we didn’t even know when we would see each other next, if we would see each other at all. Sure, he managed to call me every day for the first week, and then after that, his calls came less and less, and whenever he would call, we would only get to talk for about 10 minutes tops. So yeah, Nick Jonas is my boyfriend whom I haven’t seen in months and don’t even get to talk with often.
If this is what having a boyfriend is like, then maybe I shouldn’t have said yes in the first place.
I quickly pushed that thought away and tried to get some sleep.
“Welcome back girls!” Georgina said as she gave Kerry, Kellie and I cheek kisses as we walked into the set.
“Hi Georgina!” we all said, smiling at her.
“So I heard that you met your new co-stars yesterday, pretty cute huh?” Georgina winked at us.
Before we could even say anything, she reached for her cellphone and answered a call. She waved goodbye to us as she talked to the person on the line.
“Wow. We really are back” Kellie said as we all looked around the set.
“Yeah. It’s exactly how we left it” Kerry laughed.
“Well, not exactly,” I said. “We’re missing three people” I sighed.
“Aww Lex, I know you miss Nick. I miss Kevin too, ok and maybe even Joe” Kerry giggled which made Kellie punch her on the arm, “but they’re having the time of their life, I mean, imagine, they’re on a world tour! We have to be happy for them” Kerry continued as she gave me a hug.
“I know mom, I just miss them, that’s all. I even miss Nick being Mr. Crankypants!” I said making the two girls laugh.
“I miss Joe” Kellie sighed as she placed her arms around me and Kerry.
“We have to be strong, girls. I’m sure the boys will get in touch with us again soon” Kerry said, giving us a faint smile. But I could tell that even she was doubting her words.
“Jake and Alexis, we need you on the set!” we heard Henry yell over the megaphone. I looked at Kerry and Kellie and they both nodded and smiled as I walked off to the set for my first scene with my new partner.
“Hi Alexis!” Jake said with a smile as he got to his position.
“Hi! You ready?” I asked.
“Well, I hope so. I’m a little nervous since this is my first shoot and all” he chuckled nervously.
“Don’t worry about it. Our script is pretty much normal for our age anyway, there’s no need to internalize that much” I smiled at him.
“Action!” Henry yelled.
“And cut!”
“Hey, you were great!” I told Jake after we finished with our scene.
“Thanks. I’m glad I got paired with you. You made me feel really comfortable” Jake laughed as I smiled at him and tried to fight back the heat rising to my cheeks.
Nick. Nick. Think of Nick.
“Glad I could help” I said with a smile.
Kellie’s POV
I was sitting on my chair and waiting for Henry to call me and Eric for our scene. If Joe were here, he would surely be distracting me from practicing my lines by tickling me or just being really weird. I miss Joe a lot and sometimes I wish he were right in front of me instead of just talking to him on the phone, which most of the time I couldn’t even get a word in edgewise because he’d just call to say he misses me and he loves me and then he would have to hang up to do something.
My thoughts were cut off by someone calling my name.
“Kellie?”
I turned my head and saw Eric standing beside me.
“Oh hey Eric”
“You looked like you were deep in thought” he said. “Penny for your thoughts?”
“Oh, I was just trying to rehearse my lines in my head” I lied. A lonely sap missing her boyfriend wouldn’t exactly make a good impression on someone I just met.
“Oh okay. You want me to practice it with you?” he smiled at me.
“Um, ok, sure” I said.
Kerry’s POV
Our first shooting day went by pretty quickly. Henry and Georgina only had us do a few scenes today and then gave us the afternoon off. Matt, Jake and Eric were really great guys but they still couldn’t compare to Kevin, Nick and Joe. As soon as Kells, Lex and I got back to our hotel, we all went to our own rooms to unpack. I finished unpacking quickly and decided to check my e-mail, secretly hoping that Kevin had an e-mail for me. I was tapping my fingers on the table as I waited for the screen to load. I smiled when I saw that I had 3 new messages, but then my heart sank when I realized that none of them were from Kevin. I groaned and turned my computer off. So much for missing me and promising me to keep in touch.
I walked out of my room and saw that Kellie was on the couch with a frustrated look on her face as she dropped her phone on the space beside her.
“Ugh” she muttered frustratedly.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” I asked as I sat down beside her.
“I’ve been trying to call Joe but he hasn’t been picking up” she said with a sigh.
“They’re probably doing a show or something” I told her, trying to be optimistic.
“Maybe, but is it that hard to even send a text message? I just wish it wasn’t this hard, you know?” she said as she leaned on me.
“Aww Kells, he’ll call soon, I’m sure of it. And if he doesn’t, well, I might have to remind him not to do that to you” I laughed as I punched my palm with my other fist.
“Mom!” Kellie laughed.
Just then I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I grabbed it and read the message.
[Matt]
Hi Kerry! What are you girls up to?
The guys and I were wondering if you wanted to hang out :)
“Kells, I think it’s time we stop moping around. Call Alexis and tell her we’re going out” I said as I stood up and replied to Matt’s message.
Kellie gave me a confused look but nodded her head as she stood up and went upstairs.
It’s time we faced reality, the Jonas boys won’t be here for the show, and it’s only right that we try and become friends with our new co-stars.
