Well. We're entering the month of Halloween soon. I am anyways. I was just wondering if anyone had a few scary stories they'd like to share.
WARNING: I strongly advise people under eleven to read this. If you get nightmares, please don't go complaining, because I warned you. It's your fault.

Okay. Here goes.There were these two girls. Alice and Bella. They were walking home from school and it was a really hot day.

"I'm hungry" Alice complained.

Bella nodded agreeing with her friend. So, as if on cue, a familiar icecream truck's tune was heard. [like, the tune in that Jack-in-the-box]. It comes closer, and closer.

"What do you want?" the icecream turck driver asked.

"Chocolate"

He then turned to Alice.

"What would you want?" he asked.

This time, his voice was a strange and creepy perverted like voice.

"Strawberry, please" she replied.

The next thing Bella knew she was knocked out and at the school again.

Hmp. Weird she thought.

The next day she was walking home from school with another friend. Emily. The familiar jack in the box tune was heard and the icecream truck was once again in fromt of them.

"What flavor?" he asked.

Bella frowned.

"Chocolate, please" she said for the second time.

He turned to Emily.

"Strawberry please"

The next thing Bella kew she was once again knocked out and infront of the school building. She was fustrated now. Alice and Emily were nowhere to be found. The next day, she was determined to get her chocolate icecream. She went with a crowd of girls.

"Listen. Don't get strawberry icecream."

When the icecream truck was in view, Bella snuck into the back to see if she could finally get her icecream. When she found two cartons, she opened the lids and nearly threw up. It wasn't icecream she found. It was Emily and Alice's body parts chopped up and preserved.

Tay♥[Now that the music's off. I can't stand the silence!] wrote OMJ here's mine! Maybe you people have heard it! The Green Scarf! There was a girl named Elizabeth and she usually kept to herself and never talked to anyone, she was an outsider. She always seemed kind of disconnected when people talked to her, but what mystifyed everyone was that she always wore a green scarf. No matter what the weather was she always wore the green scarf. In her JR. year of high school, she met this boy named Jeff. They instantly fell in love. Three years later, they were married in a chapel. All through their marriage, Jeff always wanted Elizabeth to take off the scarf, but Elizabeth refused! After 50 years of happiness and love, Jeff and Elizabeth grew old. Elizabeth was diagnosed with cancer, they only gave her another year to live. In that year, Elizabeth spent most of the time she had left in bed, wheezing and coughing and breathing with a breathing machine. "Elizabeth, please take off your scarf aren't you hot?" Jeff asked one day. "Jeff, it's my time to go. Now is the time I can take off my scarf. But I'm so weak. Will you do it for me?" Elizabeth asked. How could Jeff refuse the love of his life. Slowly, Jeff unwraveled the green scarf. Until it was off. With that final tug Jeff got the scarf off. And he also got Elizabeth's head off her neck too... There's mine!!

Never heard it before, but that's creepy too.  Man, now I wanna go and make up a creepy story, but I suck at it.  *pouts*

The closest thing I can think of (off the top of my head anyway) to anything remotely creepy was when I was a freshman in HS and I was walking home one day and the police had like my whole neighborhood taped off.  I had to go some crazy back way to finally get home.  Later that night, I found out that apparently, three houses down from mine, the elderly couple living there had been murdered by their son maybe a few weeks to a month before.  A neighbor had called police when a dead cat was spotted in the back yard.  They found the woman's body cut up and stuffed in a freezer.  They found the man's body in the bathtub...it had been filled with water and garbage bags had been duct taped over it to keep the smell in.  At the time, the son was still at large. 

And what's really sad...totally true story.  I refused to walk home the rest of that school year.  I had to wait till five at my HS every afternoon for my parents to come get me.

Ahh...In your backyard...I'd move too...holy crap...and I'd probably have nightmares about it forever.  At least, I didn't see what took place in mine...*shudders* that's good...creepy, but good.
