kay, this is my first fanfic and it's kinda slow at first. if you want me to post more let me know. it get's better farther along. and just to warn you this is a pretty long fanfic.

“Woohooooo!!!!!” I screamed excitedly as me and my family entered six flags, “I LOOOOOOOOOVE amusement parks!!!!!!!”
“That’s nice honey, now remember I’m lending you dad’s phone so you can reach me if you need to. No using it to talk to your friends or what not, only me and only if it’s important. Ok? Good, now remember I said you can go around the park by yourself but you have to be responsible and….and…. well here’s 20 dollars. Only use it for lunch and I want you to call me around 4:00 to talk about our plans for the rest of the day even though it’s only 10:00 right now, don’t forget. Ok?” my mom said almost all in one breath. I could tell she was just a little bit worried about me going around the park by myself but I really wanted to have fun without being chained to my family for once. Now don’t get me wrong I love my family I just didn’t want to hang out with them today.
My mom finally stopped pestering me with instructions and took the family off in pursuit of rides. I watched them walk off and waved good-bye to the little kids. Then I set off in a random direction hoping to find a good ride without a lot of people in line for it. Well let me tell you that’s nearly impossible.
I had been walking for a good 20 minutes and was starting to feel out of place ‘cause I didn’t see anyone else walking all by themselves. I was seriously considering finding my family and maybe hanging out with them, when I heard some music coming from an arena.
Now, I don’t know about you but I absolutely love music and the stage. It seemed as though those two things combined were pulling me in that direction. I was walking towards the stage not really paying attention to who was playing, just bopping my head to the beat. Then all of a sudden I look up and see the Jonas Brothers.
I had totally forgotten they were performing here tonight. I was so shocked that they were here and I thought maybe I shouldn’t be here if they’re practicing. So I stopped really quickly and tried to spin around to walk away. But instead I ended up falling on my face and it HURT!!!!!!!
As I was lying there on the ground I hoped that no one saw, so I could walk away quickly without being noticed. Since I was deep in thought I didn’t notice that the music had stopped playing so it came as a great shock to me when I sat up and saw a hand reaching down to help me up. Naturally I took it and it came to an even greater shock to me after I stood up and saw that the hand belonged to none other than the famous and talented Joe Jonas.

“Are you okay?” he asked with concern.
“Y-yeah, I’m fine. Thanks for helping me up. Ummmm, I-I gotta go.” I said nervously.
“Oh, well wait I’m Joseph Jonas, this is my little brother Nick,” he said pointing to Nick on his left, then to his right, “ and this is my older brother Kevin.”
“Yeah, I know. I’m Jamie.” I said silently scolding myself. Duh, I know who they are but I shouldn’t have let them know I know. Now they’re gonna think I’m just another crazy fan and I’m stalking them or something.
Joe laughed, “Are you a fan?”
“Yeah. I like your music a lot and I think you guys are great.” I replied.
“Cool. So what are you doing here?” Joe asked.
“Well I’m at the park to go on rides and have fun. That is what most people do here. Except right now I’m all alone so I have no one to keep me entertained while waiting in long lines to go on absolutely terrifyingly awesome roller coasters!”
“Didn’t anyone come with you, you don’t look old enough to drive?” Kevin questioned.
“I’m not. Old enough to drive that is. I’m only 14, birthday’s in February but that’s like forever from now. And to answer your other question yes I did come with someone. My family. But there’s like a million of them so I begged my mom for permission to go off by myself and surprisingly she agreed. I’m not having as much fun as I thought I would though. It’s kinda boring going around the park by myself.” I babbled.
“Oh, a million? You must be exaggerating you don’t have a million family members” Nick said.
“Ok, so I exaggerated, but not by much. I’m one in a family of ten,” I could see the surprise in their faces, “there’s Mom, Dad, Judy-19, Chris-17, Caroline-16, Me-14, Josh-12, Marissa-10, Ruby-8, and Noah-5 but he’s turning 6 on November 6. And truthfully we’re not all here anyways. Judy’s at college, Chris’s at pole vault camp, and Caroline’s in Florida babysitting for a family while they’re on their vacation.”
“Wow, do you like living in a big family?” questioned Joe.
“Well, I….. Wait what is this? 20 questions?” I eyed them suspiciously.
“Ahhhh, well we like to get to know people.” Joe said while blushing.
“Fine, but what if I have some questions for you?”
“Well, then ask them,” Joe said but then Kevin got Joe’s attention and motioned to talk to him, “on second thought hold those questions.”
I gave them a confused look as Joe, Kevin, and Nick walked off in the direction of the stage. I stood there as they talked to someone. It’s been a while and I’m not sure if they’re coming back. Maybe that was their way of telling me they didn’t want to talk to me. Maybe I should leave instead of standing here like an idiot.
