hey, i promised to make up for the short one, so here's a kinda long one.
I didn’t know what to do after the concert to go to the meet and greet so I asked someone. They told me and pointed to a line that was beginning to form. I took my place in it and quickly called my mom, telling her that the concert was over, but I was going to the meet and greet so I’d call her when I was done.
I was close to the front but not that close. After I got closer to the guys I could see how exhausted they were from performing, but they were still trying to be cheerful. In fact I would think that they were perfectly okay, if I hadn’t talked to them all day while they were really hyper.
When I finally got up there I said hi to Nick and gave him a hug. He said hi back, then I just stood there until I said loudly, “Gosh, I feel so stupid, here I am with nothing for you guys to sign.”
“That’s ok,” Nick said, “We already have something for you. But we’re kinda busy right now so if you’d just step out of line and sit in that chair over there until we’re ready that’d be great.”
I nodded and did what he said. The other girls in line gave me questioning glances and evil glares. I just shrugged them off and tried to keep myself entertained while sitting there. Every now and then one of the guys would turn and smile at me. I’d smile right back but it was getting a little boring and late and cold, I just realized. A bunch of girls in line were putting on jackets and sweatshirts. I didn’t have anything and I was getting pretty cold. Nick realized this and asked, “Are you cold?” I shivered and he took that as a yes. “So do you want to borrow my jacket?” he asked. I thought awwwwwww that’s so sweet but I don’t want to impose on him.
“N-n-n-no.” I said as I shivered from the cold again.
Nick chuckled since it was obvious I needed a jacket. “Here.” He said as he handed it to me. I was seriously about to refuse again, but I was really cold so I figured why not? So I thanked him and put the jacket on much to the jealously of some of the girls in line. After that the time seemed to pass quickly and I could actually see the end of the line.
The last girl said her good byes and then Nick, Joe, and Kevin turned to face me. I stood up and walked over to them. “So….” I said.
“So,” Kevin said. “We’ve got something for you, but just wait. Turn around and close your eyes.”
I did as he told. What I didn’t see was Kevin pull something out of a bag and him and his brothers signing it. “You can turn around and open your eyes now.” He said.
I did that and he handed me something, I opened it up it was the picture from Mouse Trap. “Oh, thanks so much, but isn’t it yours?” I questioned.
“No, I bought another picture for you, so you have something to remember us by.” Kevin replied.
“Awwwwww, that’s so sweet, but I doubt I could forget you guys. Today was amazing, thanks so much.” I said.
“No problem, we had a lot of fun too. This was definitely one of the best days ever.” Joe replied as Nick added his agreement.
“Well I got to go now. Nice meeting and hanging out with you guys.” I said.
We all hugged good-bye and I walked off and called my mom. Then we went home. I fell asleep on the ride home dreaming about the Jonas Brothers.
Meanwhile Joe, Nick, and Kevin were talking about the great day they just had and getting ready to leave. “Wow, today was so amazing. You ever think we’re gonna see her again?” Nick asked.
“I dunno, lil bro. We should’ve asked for something like her phone number or email address. Guess none of us was thinking though.” Kevin answered.
“Yeah,” Joe said as he tripped and fell on his face.
Nick and Kevin started laughing. Joe just glared at them and said. “Hey, it wasn’t my fault I fell. I tripped on….on. Hey, what is this?” Joe was holding a white wallet with pink hearts on it.
“Open it up see who it belongs to.” Kevin said intelligently.
So Joe opened it and sure enough there was a card that said: If found please contact Jamie Peterson along with her number and address.
“Hey, we’re traveling near there for a concert. Why don’t we swing by her place and drop the wallet off personally?” Nick asked excited at the prospect of seeing Jamie again.
“Sure, that sounds ok. We’ll just have to let some people know.” Kevin said.
“Ok, cool, now that that’s settled can we go now? I’m exhausted.” Joe exclaimed as he yawned. They all left wondering what tomorrow would bring.
(awww, wasn't it sweet of Nick to give her his jacket? what will happen when they all meet again? any guesses?
