CHAPTER THREE. . .
"Melissa! Melissa! Mel-iss-a! Melissa, Melissa!" Joe sang as he danced and twirled around the room.
Nick walked in and laughed at the sight of his brother acting like a ballerina.
"Who's Melissa?" Nick questioned.
"That girl Joe met at the meet and greet last night." Kevin replied.
"Oh yeah! Pretty much the female version of Joe."
Kevin laughed, "Yep, that's the one."
Now Joe was chanting "M-E-L-I-S-S-A!"
"He's got a date with her tonight." Kevin said between sips of his coffee.
"A match made in Red Bull heaven.." Nick smirked.
"KEVIN! COME HELP ME WITH MY HAIR!" Joe yelled, while skipping into the bathroom.
Kevin rolled his eyes and followed his little brother.
Nick chuckled and hopped up on the countertop.
He grabbed his phone and dialed Taylor's number.
"Hello?"
"Good morning!" Nick exclaimed.
"Hey Nick! What are you up to?"
"Not too much, Joe's got a hot date tonight."
"Ohh laa laa, wish him luck for me."
"I doubt he'll need it. This girls almost as hyper as he is!"
"There's no way!" Taylor giggled.
"Yeah, she's a pretty cool girl. I'm happy for him."
"Good," Taylor smiled, "he deserves a good girl."
"Yeah, he does. Hey we saw you on TRL! Great job."
"Thanks Nick! Listen, call me back later, I'm about to order lunch."
"Yeah no problem. Love you buddy!"
"Love you too! Tell the boys I say hi."
There was a knock at the door.
Nick opened it up, and saw Melissa standing there with a huge grin.
"Hey Nick!" She said, giving him a high five.
He invited her in and offered her a drink. She told him she already had a Red Bull. He laughed to himself, thinking she was a perfect match for his brother.
"Look who it is.." Joe said, opening his arms for a hug.
Melissa literally leaped into his arms and they bear-hugged eachother.
"So where are you two headed?" Kevin asked.
"It's a surprise!" Joe said suspiciously.
Then Joseph grabbed her hand and lead her out the door.

Taylor was having lunch with her friend, Mitchel.
He wasn't as close with her as Nick or Kevin or Joe was, but they had been seeing a lot more of eachother lately.. since Nick was away on tour.
"So fill me in, what's up with you and Nick?" Mitchel asked her.
Taylor took a bite of her salad and thought for a moment.
"You know all there is to know."
"Honestly, just friends?"
I want to be more than that Taylor thought. Then answered,
"Yep, he's my best friend. Nothing more."
Mitchel took a bite of his burger and nodded.
Taylor's phone rang. New text from Nick.
Hello Beautiful,
how's it going?
I hear it's wonderful
In California.
I've been missing you..
It's true.
Love Nick.
Taylor smiled, he was such a dork. She looked up at Mitchel, who was studying her face.
"I know that look, it's from Nick isn't it?"
Taylor nodded, still smiling.
