CHAPTER FOUR. . .
Taylor woke up the next morning in Mitchel's house.
She was laying on his couch, with a blanket placed over her.
Just then, Mitchel walked in with a smile.
"Look who's up!" He joked and handed her a cup of coffee.
"Thanks hun." She smiled, and took a sip from the mug.
"You know, you totally fell asleep before the best part of the movie!"
Taylor giggled, "I couldn't help it, I was exhausted !"
Mitchel smirked and handed Taylor her phone.
"You missed two calls."
"Oh. Must've been Nick. One sec.." She said, dialing Nick's number.
"Hello?"
"Good morning!"
"Hey Tay, how was.." Nick started, but he was interrupted by Mitchel's voice.
"Tay, how do you like your eggs?" Mitchel called from the kitchen.
"Scrambled, please!" Taylor called back to him.
"Is that Mitchel..?" Nick asked.
"Yeah."
"Did you stay at his place last night?"
Taylor tried putting on her t-shirt as she casually said,
"Mm hmm."
Nick didn't say anything.
"Oh, no, Nick.. it wasn't like that!"
"Yeah, I know. Just try not to get into too much trouble without me." Nick said.
"I wouldn't dream of it." Taylor giggled.
"Oh man, my battery's dying. But Tay, I.."
Beep, Beep, Beep.
Connection Lost.
Taylor sighed and touched her lucky necklace.
"Everything okay?" Mitchel asked, looking concerned.
She looked up at him and tried to smile.
"Yeah. I just miss them, that's all."
Mitchel set her breakfast down in front of her.
"Bon appetite!" He said in an attempted French accent.
Taylor laughed and smiled a real smile.
"This is so good, Mitch, thanks a lot."
"Anytime! So, what time are you working today?"
"Oh gosh!" Taylor said, grabbing her bag and jacket. "I totally forgot!"
Mitchel tossed her her phone.
"Thanks again! Call me later!" She called as she ran out the door.

Hundreds of girls were screaming at the top of their lungs.
"Thanks a lot for coming out tonight." Kevin said.
At this point, Joe was blowing kisses to a star-struck girl in the audience. For a moment, she looked like she was literally going to faint.
"This next song is a special one. It was written for our best friend.. enjoy." Nick said.
They started playing Inseperable.
With every word Nick sang, he thought of Taylor.
Just 5 more days until he'd see her again.
