October 25th
Hollywood ‘It’ Girls Kaitlynn Carter and Blair Wright were seen around Sunset Boulevard going into various hotspots along the way. The duo, notorious for their party girl ways seemed to have somewhat been tamed over the last few weeks since filming the murder mystery ‘Goodnight and Goodbye’ with the Jonas Brothers here in Hollywood over the course of these past months. Have these two party girls finally kicked the habit? Or once they’re out of the Jonas’ charm will they fall right back into their old ways once again?
His mom had always warned him about those types of girls that are in Hollywood waiting for their next victims. Video Girls, she called them. They were beautiful; you’d fall under their spell, but once you had your back turned, it’d be far too late.
He knew about them. He knew two of them, actually.
He kept his dark eyes focused on the beach as it crashed against the shorelines. He leaned his head against the window pane as he heard footsteps coming towards her. How on earth did he manage to fall himself falling in love with her? Young Hollywood’s bad girl. What was he? He and his brothers were put up high on the list of role models for teens. He was squeaky clean and at only eighteen, she already had black marks on her record. Nothing too bad of course.
“Joseph...”
Did his mom approve of her? Are you kidding? Of course not. His mom approved of neither Blair nor Kate. Especially not her two of her sons dating both of them.
But maybe that’s why he found himself falling head over heels in love with her. She was different. He knew she hadn’t done nearly half the things she said she had, but with her blonde hair, piercing eyes, entrancing smile and a thick valley girl accent, he found her exciting. She wasn’t Taylor, no, even though she had grown up in the South. The once Southern Belle had transformed into a Hollywood Bad Girl, and he liked everything about her.
“Blair.” He replied, feeling her close behind him.
She giggled, before leaning against a wall and smiling at him, “Good job today.” She said that with a smile that temporarily sent him into a trance. He tore his eyes off of her smile, and brought them up to her eyes. He smiled and said, “You were good too.” She smiled at him, and turned to follow his gaze out the window. Joe looked down, before sighing and glancing down at his phone. He groaned when he saw Nick’s number flashing on the screen. He opened it to see Nick had texted him: ‘dude, where are you?’
“I have a question for you, but think carefully before you reply.” Joe said, snapping his phone shut and looking up at her. She beamed at him and waited for him to continue. Joe leaned closer to her and whispered, “What are you doing tonight?”
“Something with you?” Was Blair’s quick reply as if she knew he was going to ask her that.
“Good answer.” He said, smiling, before kissing her cheek and walking out to find Nick. Blair smiled and turned on her heels, whipping her phone out of her purse and sending a text to Kate.
Kate felt her pocket vibrating, and got out her phone to see a new message. ‘i thnk im getin him alone 2nite…hehe,’ it said. Quickly she replied, ‘ohh tht meens i gotta do the same wit nick xD’ Putting her phone away, she continued to apply her make up.
A little more than an hour later, Nick knocked on Kate’s hotel door, while Joe knocked on Blair’s. “Hello, beautiful,” Joe said to her as he reached out his hand. She giggled and they two walk hand-in-hand to the limo. Nick chuckled at his brother’s corniness and knocked on Kate’s door again, since no one answered the first time. “Kate?” he asked. As he was about to knock again, the door slowly opened. He walked in and called her name once more. “You here, Kate? Hello?” He turned the corner, and saw her fixing her hair. “It looks fine,” he laughed, noticing her frustration. She jumped and walked up to him. “You sure?” Nick nodded and the two hurried to the waiting car.
Blair took her arm and put it around Joe’s waist as they walked to the restaurant. Joe looked down at her a little taken back by that action, but smiled down at her anyway. He was used to dating the cookie-cutter, goody two-shoes kinds of girls. The ones that were never in tabloids, the ones that weren’t at parties, and weren’t notorious for dating guys that were ten or fifteen years older than them. But something about Blair excited him, maybe it was just the fact that he wanted to be known as someone else than just a Disney star that never gets in trouble.
“You look beautiful.”
Blair smiled at him and said, “I think we’ve already established that.” Joe smiled at her forwardness and followed her inside. She took his hand and said, “But thanks, babe. You don’t look too bad yourself.” Joe let her walk ahead of him and Nick with Kate. She smiled at Kate and the two girls linked arms as they walked to find the perfect table. Joe looked at his little brother and said, “Something about them doesn’t feel right.”
“Joe, stop worrying about your reputation so much. Kate’s actually extremely sweet. I really, really, like her. And there’s a reason you asked Blair out.” There was a reason Joe asked Blair out. He just felt attracted to her for some reason. Sure she was beautiful, both girls were, but somewhere deep down, he knew there was something else behind just a pretty face. He wasn’t sure what it was yet, but he knew it was there.
“Just relax and enjoy the night, alright?” Nick gave his brother’s shoulder a pat, before smiling and walking to the table that the girls had picked out for them. Joe smiled when Blair caught his eye, and was about to walk over to them when he felt his phone vibrate. He pulled his phone out to see that Kevin had texted him. ‘is nick on a date?’ Joe texted back: ‘yeah, why?’
Kevin never responded, but just a few minutes later, the oldest Jonas brother stormed into the restaurant, not believing what he was seeing.
