I tried to get ready really slowly, so as to waste as much time as possible. But how come when you want the time to fly, it seems like the whole world has stopped around you?! A whole range of thoughts and emotions ran through my head. I went from being deliouriously happy to panicky, did he like me or were we just chilling. Gah too many thoughts, but i couldn't help myself. I didn't know if he liked me but right now I was happy with the fact that he had even bothered to call me. Besides I was only in L.A for two and a half more weeks, it's not like we could spend much time together, what with him being a super busy rockstar and all.

I decided to call Jade and let her know that I was going out and that I'd be late home and that i'd try not to wake her. I got through to her voicemail, and relayed the message to her. I must have nodded off because the next thing I knew my cell phone was ringing. OMG it's Joe I screamed inwardly! "Hello?" I said as I answered the phone. "Hey aisling, it's Joe. I'm parked right outside, you ready?"

"Yup gimme 2 mins and I'll be right down."

"K see ya"

I glanced quickly in the mirror for any embarrassing smudges but I was suprisingly good to go. Quickly brushing my hair in the elevator I felt the nerves starting to rattle again. As soon as I left the building, I saw Joe get out of his car. We greeted each other with a hug and I had a great big smile on my face as he opened the car door for me.

Joe's point of view.

I sat in the car waiting for Aisling, my heart racing. Wondering if she even liked me or did she see this as a friendly gesture. True to her word she was down in two minutes. I could see her coming through the lobby and man she took my breath away. She was dressed smartly, but casually if that makes sense. I was blown away by her natural beauty, the little bit of make up she did wear showed off her beautiful blue eyes. As we pulled away from the hotel we chatted easily. "Did you lose Frankie yet today?" she asked laughing

"No not today, the poor guy was so tired that he fell asleep at our concert. I don't understand how he fell asleep over the deafening sound of the music and all the screaming girls." She laughed again and it was infectious. Sitting with 2 steaming cups of coffee in front of us, I still couldn't believe she was so easy to talk to, she wasn't fauning over me like every other girl I came into contact with. She actually seemed to have a genuine interest in everything I said. Her phone lit up on the table to show that she had lost signal. I noticed a young boy as her screensaver. I was glad it wasn't a guy her age. She saw me looking and she smiled again as she explained it was her 7 year old brother who also happened to be her godson. The conversation turned to family and I loved the fact that she held her family in such high regard. 4 cups of coffee later, I noticed the time. 4am. "Oh man my parents are gonna flip if they realise I've stayed out this late considering I've to be up in the morning for interviews and we've another show tomorrow night." I stated. I reluctantly drove her back to her hotel, not wanting the night to end. "Thank you for the coffee" she said with her beautiful smile as I opened the door for her. "My pleasure, I'm just sorry it was so late. I'll call you tomorrow.. I mean if that's... uh... ok?" I asked hesitantly afraid she'd say no. "Sounds good" she answered. "Well goodnight Joe, I guess I'll talk to you tomorrow" she said as I hugged her goodbye. "Goodnight Aisling". I watched her walk into the hotel and through the lobby and waited until she got into the elevator. "Wow" I thought as I drove home, everything about her filling my mind, I hoped that she wanted to see me again.

Aisling's point of view.

I replayed the whole night in my head as I lay in bed, and eventually drifted off to sleep with a smile on my face.

I woke groggily to hear my cell ringing. "Ais make it stop, please??? it's too early!" Jade begged from the other bed. Who in the world was calling me at 7.30am? I saw Joe's name on the caller id.

"Hey, I thought I just said bye to you?!" I giggled.

"Aisling, how could you do this to me?" he growled angrily. I sat up in bed, terrified.
