Chapter 2

Turns out Kevin asked if Angela would stay behind just in case something happened and I needed her as soon as I called her she was over ,There was a knock on the door and I got up looking out the peep hole to make sure it was her sure enough it was,I opened the door and she walked in with a note in her hand.

"Well no one was there but someone left a note."She said handing it to me.

Told you I'd get out.

As soon as I read that my hart started to beat faster and I started to get dizzy the only person who had ever said that to me was Cappie when he got sentenced to life in prison.I quickly grabbed ahold of Angela as she slowly helped me sit down on the bed.

"Whoa are you alright?"She asked as she got down next to me.

"No I need Kevin."I whispered softly as I slowly put my hand on my stomach and tried to calm down before I ended up hurting the baby.

"Alright well they left a rental car here with me so we'll just drive to the venue."She said as she slowly helped me get up and we both headed out the door,I made sure I had the note to show Kevin,I was nervous as we walked down the stairs and to the rental car,I was happy when we made it into it and I quickly locked the doors.

"So what is this all about?"Angela asked as she drove the car.

"Do you remember everything that happened with Kevin and I?"I asked putting both of my hands over my stomach.

"You mean the whole getting beat up and then being shot?"She asked as she glanced at me.

I nodded my head as I tears fell down my face,I was scared for both Kevin and me but mostly for our unborn child.

As we got up to the venue and parked the car Angela helped me get out of the car and then we both walked into the venue as we headed backstage and to the boys dressing room.When we got inside Kevin was sitting down playing his guitar and as soon as he saw me he got up.

"Heather what's wrong?"He asked as he took my face in his hands and gently wiped the tears away.

"This."I said as I handed him the note and he read over it before he quickly sat back down on the couch and ran his hand through his hair.

~Kevin's POV~

I read the letter over and over again before I looked back at Heather and then down on her stomach,I wasn't about to let someone harm either of them.

"I think I'm going to get you a bodyguard."I said as I leaned over placing my hand on her stomach"I wouldn't be able to stand it if something happened the the two of you."

She nodded slowly as she put her hand over mine and squeezed it.

Nick and Taylor came walking in about that time with Joe and Lanie right behind them.

"What's going on?"Lanie asked.

"Cappie has broken out of jail."I said as I let them see the note.

"You'd think someone would have called you by now about it."Joe said as he took the note and looked it over.

I shrugged.

"I'm hiring a boy guard for Heather."I said as I stood up.

"We have two of them why don't the two of you just use them."Nick said as he looked at us"I mean I'm sure the rest of us will be ok."

"Yeah."Joe said as he nodded his head"Your going to need them way more than we will."

"Thanks guys."I said as I headed out to go and find our bodyguards and tell them"Watch her for me will ya."

"Can do."Angela said as she walked over to Heather and sat down next to her,Lanie slowly sat down on the other side as Joe sat down on the arm of the couch next to her.

~Heather's POV~

I watched the concert that night from a seat backstage along with Lanie.Taylor and Angela stood as we watched the boys preform after they got finished we headed back towards the hotel with our body gaurds,they would be standing outside the door of mine and Kevin's hotel room just in case we needed them.Kevin and I both walked into the hotel room and he collapsed on the bed as I walked over to the bathroom to get myself ready for bed.

As I walked back out he was already asleep and I smiled looking down at my wedding ring and smiling,it was kinda like my engagement ring only a little different and it had just friends written across it instead of our names.I slowly walked over to the bed and sat down slowly putting my hand on my stomach as I laid down next to him and turned on my side watching him as he slept.I couldn't have picked a better guy to be my husband he was sweet and romantic not to mention he was going to make a great father because of the way he did now even with him in my stomach,we had yet to decide on a name though I figured I should probably talk with him about it.

A few minutes later Kevin woke up and looked over at me.

"How long have I been asleep?"He asked.

"A few minutes."I said softly as he got up and scratched his head.

"Have you been watching me sleep again?"He asked smiling as he looked down at me.

"Guilty."I said with a small smile as he leaned down and kissed me gently.He got up and headed to the bathroom before he came walking back out with his bed clothes on.He walked over to the bed and laid back down as he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me to him as I laid on his chest and listened to his heartbeat.

"Do you really think Cappie will try anything?"I asked as I looked up at him.

"I wouldn't put it past him."Kevin said as he ran his fingers through my hair"But I don't want you to worry about it."

I nodded my head.

It's so hard not to think about it.
