i watched the video that was just posted up on the main page.. and i got really upset when the guy reporter said..
"waiting for their chance to meet the it band of the moment"
i only got upset because they way he said it and worded it makes it sound like they are going to be one of those bands that last 15 minutes and die out. that sounds so pety, i was just like WHAT? no way, im listening to jonas till im old and wrinkly.
I know! I saw that too! I was lik "nuh uh! I am listening to them forver!" Lol.
^^
I know!My finger's feel like ICE right now.I just went outside to take the sheet's off the plants and I froze.
their a band thats going to be sticking around for a LONG time!
I know! I got so pissed when my mom said,
"So... How long are you going to being listening to the.. What are they called? The Jones Brothers?"
She does that a lot. And when I tell her "the rest of my life," she says, "Can you sign a piece of paper on that?"
She always makes fun of them, telling me they are "soooo boy band." Hey, she was listning to Paul McCartney, the Talking Heads, and other old 'boy bands.'
Mothers don't understand. Fathers do. (My dad got me a signed Jonas Brothers poster, and buys the tickets for the concerts. He's my Jonas Buddy)
haha thats so cute! yeah i get made fun of too.. my dad tells me they look gay just to tease me because i make them all shut up when i watch the parade performances and such.. haha..
my mother doesnt really care.. but i did get her to go pick up those M&G passes at the verizon because i was 2 hours from home..
lol. My brother says they looks gay... HE'S THE GAY ONE. (But Im not saying that gay people are bad. I have many gay friends that rock my socks. =]])
Well, what he meant by "the moment" was that this moment will last forever. That is what he meant by "the moment". Right? I mean JB is like soo close to being the next Beatles. They are that big!! I'M NEVER GONNA STOP THE LOVIN FOR THOSE BOYSS!!! I mean seriously..sold out surprise performances. Like no one was supposed to know but of course everyone did know because they are too obsessed.
Alright ya'll, let's think about this like adults--we can't totally disregard what this guy is saying. I, for one, do believe that this is the Jonas Brothers's "moment"; they aren't going to be in the spotlight forever. Don't think that ten years from now JB, Miley Cyrus, HSM, etc. will still be top 40 material. I do think the guys love music so much that they'll still be producing music at that time, but a different set will be following them. A good percentage of JB "fans" will most likely change enough with age that the only time they'll listen is if they pop in the cd for old times sake. As for sold out tours--that won't last forever. Don't get me wrong: I realize many truly love the boys, and that will last. But most likely the Jonas Brothers won't be creating such widespread hysteria in the future. Don't get depressed (or angry with me); for now let's just enjoy them and support them through their time in the limelight.
- It's true. Thats reality. NSYNC once used to be as popular as the boys. People still love em, but things like that can't last forever.
Although for me personaly, I'm I'm sure everyone else on here, we'll be humongous fans of their up till our old ripe age. I know for a fact I'll be sitting in a rocking chair, knitting socks for my grandkids, while singing along to them. Ha. I'm gonna be an awsome grandma.
