i desided to take joe's advice well some of it after i got home i went into moll's room and looked around like i always do, then i went and cleaned the house, thyen decided to go watch a movie and yes i didi pick a funny one, blue collar comedy tour to be spacific
around half way threw the movie my phone began to play this love by the veronica's which was molly's ringtone, and mine and joe's song, i didn't want it but molly got to choose her own ringtone and of course she had choosen the one she had heard so much of, it wsa the second song me and joe ever danced too, i still remember that day
~flashback~
me and my friends went to the club for the night even though we wheren't 18 it was teen night, so we decided to go out and have a little fun which we did
i was out there dancing with one of my guy friends james when i first saw joe, but he had seen me long before and was being a llittle creeper watching me dance with james, and let's just say it wasn't the best kind of dancing
the first time i saw him it felt like lightning had just went threw my body, it was a feeling i had never felt before but i knew there was something there, after the song ended i told james to go get something to drink and joe had to make his move
he walked right up to me and asked me to dance and of course it wasn't the good mucis or the good kind of dancing again, but i didn't care it felt do good being in his arms even though i didn't even know his name
then thish love by the veronicas and we decided to dance to that song to, i guess it felt good to him too dancing with a total stranger, the whole time i looked into his eyes and his never left mine
for the rest of the night we talked over in a small booth placed on the edge of the dancefloor, i think that's where i first fell for him, we exchanged numbers and at midnight that same night he called me and asked me out and of course i said yes
~Present~
"hey molly" i said smiling as i paused the music
"hey mommy im sorry i didi't call when we got here but dad made us dinner and it was really good and then i had to do my homework and now im getting ready for bed" she said really fast
"it's okay hunny i guessed your dad had something planned he always does" i said smiling at the sound of her voice
"so what are you doing mom?" she asked and i could tell i was on speeker now
"watching a movie" i said smiling, i then heard a few wispers in the backround
"a funny one?" she asked
"yes, now joe if you wanna talk to me don't do it threw molly" i said laughing as i heard molly laugh as well then joe chuckle to himself
"ok hunny go get into bed i'll come in to tuck you in in a minute" joe said
"k night mommy, night daddy" she said then i heard her skip down the hall way
"hey sarah" he said lightly
"hey joe" i answered him
"don't worry im on the look out for nightmares, so how you doing?" he asked he was always so caring for me
"good and thanks for the whole nightmare thing but please don't tell her i told you" i said grabbing a think from her school off the table
"i would never, so what movie are you watching?" he asked
"my favorite funny movie" i said smiling looking at the screen seeing Jeff Foxworthy's face plastered on it mid sentence
"oh good" he said and i heard him move to pick something up off the ground
"yea, o there's a parent teacher meeting on tuesday night, do you wanna go? or if you wanna spent time with her i'll get doubles of stuff" i said looking at the calader
"i'll go she can go over to nick's or kevin's and spend some time wiht her uncles, i wanna be there" he said making me smile
"okay well you should go tuck mollu in, she's just as impationt as you are" i said smiling
"oh thanks i'll talk to you later" he said as i heard him sigh
"yea of course bye joe"
"bye sarah" he said and the line went dead
i know that we are divorced but it still hurts to hang up on him and to see him walking away, i mean we dated for 2 years where married for 6 and have an 11 year old daughter the love was still there, for me anyways, but im pretty sure he's moved on, i whiped away the tear that had fallen and started the movie
