I can't get over these boys. Not only are they amazing role models for kids, extremely talented, and have a charity, but they're also raising awareness and actually saving lives. <3

OMJ!! that is sooo sweet of Nick~~ I no how diabetes is my grandmother had it and it runs in the family so i have to be careful~~this make them seem soooo much lyk regular ppl~~lol~~so dis is really gr8 that Nick is raising awareness~~

Wow... thant's mighty impressive of "our boys". It helped me learn a bit more about Diabetes too. I didn't know that much about it before them. After hearing about Nick, I wanted to know the difference between Type 1 and Type 2. I feel guilty that it was only because of Nick I looked it up (at least it only was at that time) but Diabetes isn't in my family and there are only a few people at my school who have it. Actually after learning more about it, my aunt was diagnosed with Type 2, but I didn't totally flip out because i knew she wasn't going to die. I am so glad that the Jonas Brothers rasied awarness because it is a very serious disease.

Nick's the reason i found i have diabetes too. It runs in my family, but it wasn't until he became open with his diabetes that i realized i was going through some of the things he went through when he was diagnosed with diabetes. He's done so much to help so many people with diabetes.

I am actually open to say and this is COMPLETELY true, that Nick Jonas saved my life.
I have been diabetic since I was almost two and I have had diabetes for over 14 years now. After seventh grade I just stopped caring for my diabetes, yet somehow everything was turning out fine, and it was easy for me to lie to my parents and doctors about what was really going on. But it was a big mistake, and dont do this to yourself if you are diabetic, because this year (two years later) my diabetes was OUT OF CONTROL. I had high levels all the time, in many cases normally people would go to the hospital for treatment but my body was so used to the feeling and symptoms that I wasnt admitted at all. I wasnt allowed to play sports, go anywhere with friends or eat high carbohydrate items (including ice cream, deserts, pasta...etc). This is until a close friend showed me the video of nick first admitting he was a diabetic. I was in shock and after realizing that if he can go through and take good care of himself while on tour and with an extremely busy schedule than I could do it to if i tried hard enough. My parents bought dog tags (exactly like nicks) for me to wear, I am now on the Omnipod (same as nick) and I am in complete control. I can even play softball now and will soon be going to a different state all alone with friends because my diabetes is under intense control.

aww the jbs are such amazing ppl and nick helping kids with diabetes, this story is amazing and he has rose awareness... if I ever have diabetes (hope not though) I'll notice on time just because of nick, or mayb I'll be able to help someone else notice, who knows
