I'm a TH fan and I totally agree with you! I think MTV is fueling the conflict just so that they can have material to cover on slow news days! Please let's not let this nonsense get out of control! Let's ignore MTV's stupid articles!
TH and JB are two very different bands, both with a very loyal fan base. And even though we might like different styles in music we should respect each other's choices. Also, I'm sorry if some ignorant TH fans have spammed on your blog and forum. Let me assure you that most TH fans would never do that. Please don't judge TH or their fans based on their childish actions.

Despite "popular" belief, most TH fans admire the Jonas Brothers' hard work and dedication and would never do anything disrespectful to them or their fans! Things just got a bit out of control. No hard feelings guys! :)

I'm a TH fan, and I would just like to say how thankful I am to read this entry.
After reading the MTV article thing about the fanboys, and reading some of the comments, I can see how something like that started.
MTV is a huge jerk for doing something like that. What they want are just hits, and they know that an article with something like that (c'mon, two really popular bands with huge teen fanbases) would get them tons and tons of hits.
Although TH and JB keep being compared to each other, I'm really glad to see that you guys are so ... nice about the whole thing and that you guys aren't adding oil to the fire. Respect. :)

I am not really sure why the media is even insisting on comparing the two bands... it's like comparing apples and pineapples. Some TH fans are also JB fans, some are not, but my goodness, they are SO different. Anyway, peace to you guys from us. It's 2 different bands, with 2 different sounds and both bands have a very loyal and straight out awesome fanbase!

Ok....why must the media always get involved in everything and start up crap? It´s so annoying, I hate all celebrety gossip magazines, and everything that has to do with artist private life. I mean, my gosh, the Jonas Brothers barely have a private life anymore! In my opinion, the Jonas Bros. are here to sing and sometimes act, it´s a normal job, except they are just known almost all around the world for their job, but it doesn´t give anyone the right to start up crap, and try to bring TH or JB down with ignorant comments, and start up a dumb competition, really let TH have their own fan base and their own fame, and let JB do the same. All JB fans want them to be number 1 all TH fans want them to be number 1, so yeah their is some sort of competition, just like with every other artist out there, but people should just work hard to try to make their fav. band #1 without all the hate. It´s all about the music people!

I was a very loyal jb fan for a very long time. But several months ago I discovered Tokio Hotel. I am now also a loyal TH fan as well. So it made me really mad that the fans from both sides are fighting. Us Tokio Hotel fans do not like to be compared to anyone else; particularly jb because they have totally different styes and music. Most Tokio Hotel fans are more punk rock-goth styled people. So please try not let jb fans get mad at us, and TH fans will do the same. Oh, and saying that jb fans are 10x more fantastic isn't the way to stop the fighting, but that's ok cuz we know it's not true. You think JB fans are hard-core, you should check out TH fans!

WOW!!! Thats lame what they did!! I read the article AND saw the video I mean , they are TOTALLY DIFFERENT BANDS!!!! They have more of a metal feel and JB has more of Pop stuff!! Ladies I am so sorry that MTV did that to you. You guys run a great site with lots of great up to date info. I personally like both groups..JB and TH. There is no comparison of the bands because their music styles are different. They have thier own messages and understandings. This happens with all good music groups. They have to compare and start fan wars to get ratings. MTV needs something better to do with their time...like play more music instead of talking shows.

i myself have always been a tokio hotel fan, but i also like the jonas brothers. i think it is stupid tokio hotel and the jonas brothers are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. mtv didnt even talk about tokio hotel until around february when they came over. its seems like they've just randomly picked a band to battle with the jonas brothers. although there are alot of tokio hotel fans who do not like the jonas brothers, there are some who do and mtv should know this. mtv is full of crap and ruins bands for one thing, so no one should be listening to them.

I agree that they are two totally different bands with their own fans. JB has stated B4 that they were Tokyo fans so really there shouldn't be any problems. I mean we can be fans of whoever we want, but people have to know that there is a limit to " talking down" other groups. We JB fans havent' done that to the Tokyo Hotel and they haven't done it to us. So, everyone needs to chill, because true JB fans will support then no matter what, they know when to chill, and they wint make JB look bad. If you think about it and the JB saw fans from these two bands fighting or dissagreeing how would that make them look? I don't listen to like 99 percent of bands out there. I KNEW IT!! seriously I knew MTV was up to no good from the beginning from the last blog post about the fanboy thing i said it just seems like they are tring to put Tokio Hotle fans against JB fans and its soo stupid cuz JB had said they like Tokio Hotel music .. I have nothing against Tokio Hotel and their fans..

i myself have seen this type of stuff before where mtv has deliberately twisted celebrities words around to make them look bad or look like they are bashing someone else
this then leaves the celebrity to pick up the pieces after rumours have been started and fans have turned away.
its so stupid.

I myself am a TH fan and if anyone posted that on your forum, I truly am sorry for you guys, but I swear to god, TH fans do not do that type of shit. I kind of think that mtv did that. It looks practical really, I mean they already attempted to take two bands' fans and turn them against each other.
