Leisa Daniel noticed her daughter's weight loss and didn't think much about it until one night--at a Jonas Brothers' concert. The next day changed her daughter Morgan's life forever. As for how Nick Jonas’ openness about his own diabetes led to Morgan’s diagnosis, Leisa tells MomLogic.com, “I thought, if Nick Jonas hadn't talked about himself being diabetic and her thinking about it and talking about it, I might've let it go on to where she would've gotten really sick. The doctor said we had really caught it in time.” As for advice she has for other moms who suspect their children may have diabetes, Leisa adds, “If you're unsure, always take them to the doctor to make sure.
