Follow Up to the MTV Interviews

As we said please do not send any more emails to MTV about the fan interviews. When sending an email you will get an automated response providing with more information on what is going on.

Hello Jonas fans,

Thank you so much for your enthusiastic responses. We really appreciate all the emails we've received.

Unfortunately, all of our interview spots have been filled for this Thursday's shoot.

Unless you've heard from myself or Kelly with an interview time, we won't have time to fit you into our schedule. Please do not bother making the trip to NYC. We will not be able to fit you in under any circumstances. I cannot stress this enough.

For our non-NYC fans who inquired about potential online webcam-ing, or separate video submissions, unfortunately due to the nature of this particular segment we are not accepting any video or written statements from fans for this piece. We built a special set for these interviews, and if you film something yourself it will not match the look of the interviews we are shooting in the MTV offices.

But here are 3 reasons to cheer up.

1) Despite rampant online rumors, the Jonas Brothers will not be surprising any fans this Thursday during the interviews. They will be nowhere near the MTV offices. (They're on tour right now.) You're not missing out on a chance to meet the band. The lucky interviewees are simply being interviewed. That's all.

2) There is no prize for "biggest Jonas fan" being awarded. No concert tickets will be given out. No "meet and greet" passes will be exchanging hands. There will not even be a title bestowed upon any interviewee as "biggest Jonas fan." So if you know you're the biggest Jo Bro fan in the world and you were not selected to be interviewed, your title is not threatened. :)

3) We will keep all of your email addresses on file in case a similar opportunity arises in the future. Next time, before MTV News puts out another call for fans on a message board or fansite, we will reach out to you all first.

In case you were wondering, the finished segment that comes from these interviews will premiere during FNMTV on July 18th. It will air sometime between 8:00pm and 9:00pm EST.
