This past summer on August 11 2008 my best friends and I got to meet the Jonas Brothers. There was a whole week in August when we went to every show they had in New York. We called this week Jonas Week ’08. There were many preparations made weeks before the concert to get the boys attention.

     Before "Jonas Week ‘08" even started, we had all made matching T-shirts that had fun Jonas phrases’ on them. We had also made a poster that had Day 1 on it. Every day after that we would change it to the amount of days we had been to their concerts.

     The week started out with Good Morning America. The boys were going to be giving a concert there on Friday morning. My friend went in first thing Thursday morning to get us a spot in line. Later that day her sister and I went in to the city to join her and sleep outside on the streets to wait for them. That is something I will never forget as a Jonas Brothers Fan because I met so many other fans and it felt like I was not only doing something for myself but for the Jonas Brothers also. I wanted them to be able to say that they have fans who will sleep on the sidewalk for them. Well it paid off in the end because we got front row of regular admission (behind VIP). That was when the Jonas Brothers first saw our "Day 1" sign; although, from the looks on their faces they did not understand i t (yet)!

     On day 2 was their first Madison Square Garden Show. That Day they had MTV Live and Mobile cameras following them. While they were driving they saw our "Day 2". They were so surprised that Mrs. Jonas cried and all the boys loved it too! You can still see the video on MTV’s website or on YouTube. So now they knew our sign well, and they were finally catching on. But we didn’t realize this because we hadn’t been online all day and when we got home we went right to bed and then prepared for Day 3.

     The next day was Day 3. These were our best seats. They were FRONT ROW on the side. Standing right in front of us was Mrs. Jonas. When she saw our poster she motioned to the security guard and started pointing at us. When we looked over we waved at each other but then went back to focusing on the concert. Kevin saw it also and seemed happy we came back and pointed at us. We were still unaware that the very poster we were holding had made her cry the night before.

     Day 4 was our last concert. We went to Madison Square Garden and stood by the door that their car drives through. When we got there we found out that the boys weren’t going to be there for 4 more hours. We were nervous that we might lose our spot right next to where their car goes by so we decided to wait. Except it started raining. We still stood out there and w aited for their car. What we didn’t know was that while it was pouring on us one of The Jonas Brother’s managers walked by and saw us. After the rain stopped he came out to talk. He asked us if we were the same girls from the previous days and where we were sitting that night. He took our moms cell phone number then said he would call us in a little bit.

     Their car drove by but we were all so distracted we barley noticed! Then the cell phone rang. We all got into a circle and held hands (like JB does before they go on stage) while the mom talked to the manager. She got off the phone and said that there was something waiting for us in the ticket office. We all sprinted there. Then we found out we got MEET AND GREETS. We all screamed and started crying. None of us could believe that our biggest dream was actually going to come true!

     We got in the meet and greet line upstairs and sat down. As we were waiting we met Mandy and Maya! Then we saw Mrs. Jonas. We still had our sign with all the days on it (every day we just changed the number instead of making a whole new sign), and decided to give it to her. On the back we wrote a little message telling how we got to where we were and how much we love her boys. Then gave it to her and she loved it! Then we were next to meet the Jonas Brothers. I turned the corner and there was Kevin with his hand extended. I shook=2 0his hand and then went in for the hug (I had one chance to meet those boys, I was definitely going to give them a hug). Then I went to Nick and Joe. They asked me how I was and hugged me. The also talked to my friends, and hugged most of them. Then we all posed for a picture I stood in between Nick and Joe and could feel their hands on my back as it was taken. There were eight of us, practically a small army compared to the size of the other groups they meet, so we got it on two cameras. Before we left Nick told me it was so nice to meet me and as I walked away I told Joe I loved him. He replied saying, "Yup, you too!" Then we walked away to go watch the concert and enjoy the rest of the show. Everything fell into place that week and it all led up to the best day ever! Below is the picture of the meet and greet.
