Our first Jonas concert was on August 1st, 2008. A few friends and I had been fans for about a year, but not totally obsessed. We heard they were doing a few concerts around our area during their Burning Up Tour. We looked online at Ticketmaster the Sunday before their Scranton, PA concert, which was that upcoming Friday. We saw 3 dates that were close to our area and randomly decided on the Scranton concert. There were only general admission lawn seats available, and we decided to buy the cheap $25 tickets instead of pay ridiculous prices for better seats for resold tickets.

The day before the concert, myself and two of the others went and bought stuff to make shirts. We had also heard about a poster contest sponsored by Chevy for 3 sets of 4 front row tickets and 4 free meet and greet passes. We also bought a couple of pieces of posterboard and spent the rest of the day making shirts. We also spent about a half hour or so making two different posters for the contest.

We got to the venue around 3:30pm and waited in the Chevy Spotters line for about an hour and a half to have our poster judged. We met some other people in line and saw all the other posters and realized how little time we spent on our poster compared to the amazing posters everyone else made. Our poster was judged and the Chevy Spotters told us to come back at 5:30pm for when they announced the winners. We knew we had no chance of winning and were a little discouraged, especially because our seats were so far away.

At 5:30, the Chevy Spotters came out with a bullhorn and announced the first two winners. It wasn't us. We didnt realize until then how badly we wanted to meet them. Haha. The lady then said sorry and that she was going to butcher the last winner's last name. Me and my one friend automatically just looked at each other, because we had entered the poster under our one friends name, who has a really hard last name to pronounce. The lady said our name and we just freaked out.

We got to meet the boys and got our seats moved from the lawn all the way to the front. They boys were so amazing and sweet when we met them and the concert was amazing. I can't wait to see them again during their world tour. :)
