===========================

So this was my first encounter with the Jonas Brothers, but it's not all that exciting. It was on Friday April 20, 2007 at the Strawberry Festival in Sacramento, California at exactly 8:38 pm. The parentals had driven me and two of my good friends, Ayshen and Jade, up to Sac-Town right after school, so we wouldn't be late. After the concert there was a really quick meet and greet that I didn't think my parents would let us line up for but it turned out they were already in front of the line, which was pretty amazing of them. And we were the third group to go backstage and take pictures and get autographs from them. When it was my turn to give them my poster to sign, I had no idea that people who were taking pictures with them were supposed to go behind the table so I was walking in front of it instead. I got to shake Kevin's hand and he introduced himself. Too stunned to speak, I only let out a very faint, "Hi I’m Melanie." Next up it was Nick and I couldn't stop smiling. I probably looked like an idiot. He looked up from signing my poster and said, "Hey how's it going?" I replied with a, "good." And then he looked up again and asked if I had a good time. Unfortunately I couldn't understand what he said. I didn't even ask him to repeat himself and instead I gave him a very confused look; mouth agape and eyes wide-open. Finally 9842348572 minutes later I said, "Oh yeah I had a good time." My friends were watching me and told me that I looked like a total dork. Then before you know it I was getting pushed to stand in the back of the table so they could hurry up and take the picture. Nick then guided me to the table with his hand on my back and I totally got that Jonas tingle. Ha-ha, I didn't even get to talk to Joe because I spent too much time trying to figure out what Nick asked!! It was embarrassing at the time, but it could've been much worse.
