My name is Emily, and 8.2.07 was the greatest day of my 15 years of living!
Well my day started out by my friend Melissa and I leaving the hotel at 8:00am for Six Flags America in Bowie Maryland. Then we waited outside the gate for a few hours. Once we got in, all the girls were running to get VIP bracelets and were rushing for the front of the line. We got both :). Then we had 13 hours of waiting in the hot sun until the show started.
In between the 13 hours, I passed out!! I woke up and I was scared to death. So they made me go to first aid. On my way to first aid, (I was riding with 2 first aid guys on a cart) I got to go to this ‘Personnel Only’ section. You won’t believe what I saw. THE JONAS BROTHERS GOLDEN TOUR BUS!!! Yes! Once I saw it, I started crying and screaming! The guy driving me stopped the cart and said, “What’s wrong?! Are you okay?!” I was like, “IT’S THE JONAS BROTHERS! OH MY GOSH!” Since they stopped the cart, the bus had to stop too. People were looking out at me from it!!! Then we got into the first aid office, and I saw Melissa (my friend) and I told her everything I saw, and were freaking out. We asked the guy if he could get us to meet them any way! He said no!
So we left there, and went back in line (people saved our spot since I passed out). Then the gate opened and girls were running everywhere to get front row. We got front row, like we wanted. And if you pre-ordered the CD, you got m&g passes. We were happy. Then Jordan Pruitt came on. Then JB. The concert was amazing, of course. Then it was time to go to the meet and greet. We hugged them over a table (no pictures, and not many words exchanged) but it was still wonderful. We were about to leave, until the first aid guy came along and said, “I told Mr. Jonas about you! And he wants you to meet them!” He also said that he talked to his boss and it was cool that that happened! Melissa’s mom also had something to do with it. WE WERE THANKING GOD IN EVERYWAY POSSIBLE! So we got to go backstage (where the tour bus was) and talk to them, take pictures, and just hanging out. We walked up to them and Kevin said, “We’re so glad you’re feeling better!” Then Nick said, “Yeah! I’m so glad you came!” There were much more words exchanged after that. It was the most amazing day of my entire life! More than 5 hugs from Nick Jonas in one day, now that’s heaven!
