CHAPTER 1
Rachel was sitting in her bedroom, listening to the Camp Rock soundtrack, when her mom knocked on the door. “Rachel, can your dad and I talk to you in the living room, please?” she asked. “Sure, I guess.” Rachel replied. She was starting to get worried. What if her cheer coach had called, saying that she was off the squad? What if she had failed the OAT? (Authors note. The OAT is the teat that we have to take at the end of each school year starting in 3rd and going through 8th. Anyway…) What if… “Rachel, your father and I have noticed how you seem to be obsessed with the Jonas Brothers lately.” Her mom said. Oh good, so it wasn’t about school or cheerleading, or her clarinet getting blown to pieces and getting shipped off to Japan to be reassembled. “Wow, Rachel”, she thought, “You can really be stupid when you try it!” Her mom continued, “So, Your father and I have agreed to let you go to a Jonas Brothers concert!” “Oh my gosh!!” Rachel shouted “Thank you soooo much!!!!” “So me, you and two of your friends will go next Monday. Ok?” her mom asked. “Oh thank you so much!” Rachel shouted. She couldn’t wait to call Chelsea and Alyssa to invite them.
Rachel called Alyssa first. “Hey Alyssa.” “Hey Rachel. What’s up?” Alyssa asked. “Oh, nothing much”, Rachel replied “I just talked to my parents, and they asked if I’d like to go to the Jonas Brothers concert on Monday night. Would you like to come too?” “OHMIGOSH YES!” Alyssa shouted. “Well OK, come to my house at noon.” “I’ll be waiting!” Alyssa said, and hung up. Then Rachel called Chelsea, who was also extremely excited.
CHAPTER 2
Monday at noon Chelsea and Alyssa came to Rachel’s house to make posters and shirts. The shirts were white and said OMJ! on the front and Youngstown, OH August 11, 2008 on the back. They paired these with black Bermuda shorts and white flip-flops. The girls all knew that this was going to be a great night.
CHAPTER 3
At the Chevy Center in Youngstown, the girls got out of the car and started jumping up and down with excitement. Rachel screamed so loud that Chelsea had to cover her ears. “Wow Rachel”, she said, “I never knew that you could be so loud!” “Ohmigosh” Alyssa started to say, “I can’t believe that in 30 minutes I’ll be looking at JOE JONAS!!!!” “Well, yeah, Alyssa. This is HIS concert, after all! But I am still excited to see Kevin in person!” Chelsea said. Alyssa and Chelsea had just met, but they had become friends really quickly. The girls walked up to the gate, and gave their tickets to the person that was working. The lady said that they were having a contest and to put their names on a ticket. They then found their seats, which were in the third row. As soon as the concert started, the girls held up their signs. Chelsea’s said “KEVIN ROCKS! I <3 YOU!, Rachel’s said “NICK J IS OFF THE CHAIN! I <3 U!”, and Alyssa’s said “JOE, YOU MAJORLY ROCK! I <3 U!”. Rachel’s mom sat down and plugged her ears. The boys entered, and the first song they played was SOS, Rachel’s favorite. Hold On was next, followed by Burning Up and Hello Beautiful. It was a great concert!
CHAPTER 4
Near the end of the concert, the winners of the contest were announced. “Ok then,” Nick said, “as you walked in, you were asked to put the names of the people in your group on a piece of paper. Well, the winners of this contest will get to come backstage with us after the concert and meet-and-greet session. So, are you ready to see who won?”. “YES!!!” thousands of girls screamed. “Ok,” Joe said “The winners of the contest are… Chelsea, Rachel, Alyssa and Rachel’s Mom. Congrats, girls and a mother! And we’ll see you after the show!” Meanwhile, Chelsea, Alyssa, and Rachel, were screaming like crazy, and going completely nuts. Rachel even hugged a random girl standing next to her. “Girls come up here to get your passes!” Kevin said looking strangely at Rachel. The girls walked onstage, and Nick gave them their passes. “Thanks so much!” Rachel shouted, but Nick didn’t hear her over all of the screaming girls.
5 MINUTES LATER…
After the concert, the girls and Rachel’s mom walked up to Big Rob, and gave him their passes. “Oh, you’re the winners of the contest.” Big Rob said, “Congrats. Head on into the third door on your right. Make yourselves comfortable, the boys will be in in about 30 minutes.” “Thanks so much.” Rachel said. They walked down to the third door on the right, just like instructed to. They walked into a HUGE room. The room had a big screen TV, three couches, and a table with food on it. Guitar Hero was hooked up to an X-Box 360. Demi Lovato, the Jonas brothers opening performer was sitting on one of the couches reading Cosmo Girl. As Alyssa shut the door, Demi stood up, and welcomed the girls in. “Hey! I’m Demi, and you are?” “Oh, I’m Rachel, and this is Alyssa and Chelsea. And this is my mother.” Rachel said as everyone said hi. “So, did you like the concert?” Demi asked “Heck yes!” Alyssa said, still excited, “You absolutely rocked! The Jonas’s were so awesome too!” “Well, I’m glad you liked it!” Demi said laughing “Ok, this might be a little random, but you were my favorite person on Barney!” Rachel said, and Chelsea smacked her in the head.
Chapter 5
Alyssa, Rachel, Chelsea, Rachel’s Mom, and Demi sat in the Jonas Brothers dressing room, waiting for them to finish the meet-and-greet and telling about funny dreams that they had. When the boys walked in, Rachel was telling about her latest dream. “…And so after Haley heard me accuse her, she drove me out the window of Mrs. M’s classroom with a tractor looking like this...” Rachel then imitated a person driving a tractor with a really stupid smile on her face. She then collapsed laughing. “Whoa, did I miss something?” Nick said quietly to Joe. “I have no clue” said Joe. “Ohmigosh!” Rachel said, red as a fire engine, “I had no clue you were standing there. I was just telling about a dream I had that a girl in my grade was wearing my favorite gold necklace, and when I accused her, she tried to drive me out of the window with a tractor.” “Ok, not at all awkward.” Kevin said. “I’m Rachel…” Rachel said “I’m Alyssa…” Alyssa said, “I’m Rachel’s mom…” Rachel’s mom said, “And I’m Chelsea.” Chelsea said, each shaking hands with the boys in turn. “Did you girls enjoy the concert?” Joe asked. “Ohmigosh yes! I loved it!” Rachel gushed. “So, do you like Guitar Hero?” Kevin asked, looking mischievous. “I do!” Chelsea answered. “Wanna play me? I’ll go easy on you!” Kevin said. “Sure” Chelsea said. After a few songs, Kevin won by a long shot. Chelsea collapsed in laughter after being beaten so badly.
“So, are you girls involved in any kind of music?” Nick asked. “Well, I play the clarinet, and we all sing in the school choir.” Rachel said. “Are you any good? Asked Joe. “Well, the past 14 years the high school band has gotten a 1 at state band contest, (Authors Note: A one is the best you can get, so there pretty amazing. They played Sleigh Ride for Christmas, and had the whole audience on their feet. Anyway…) and the choir is amazing.” Chelsea said. “Would you sing us something?” Kevin asked. “Sure” Alyssa said, “Let’s do Carol of the Bells.” “Ok, that’s a good one” Chelsea said and Rachel agreed. They started to sing, “Hark how the bells, sweet silver bells, all seem to say, throw cares away. Christmas is here, bringing good cheer, to young and old, meek and the bold. Ding dong ding dong that is their song with joyful ring all caroling. One seems to hear words of good cheer from everywhere filling the air.…..”
After they finished, everyone was awestruck. “Wow, you girls are really good!” Nick said “Have you ever thought of forming a band?” “Not really, we just sing for fun, but, you never know.” Rachel said. “So, what do you guys want to do?” Demi asked. “Well, my mother can take us to Eat N Park, where she works.”Rachel said “OH! Isn’t that the ‘Place for Smiles?’ Can I get a cookie?” Joe asked really overly excited, “What? I used to love Mr. Rodgers.” “Well, I guess that’s a yes then.” Alyssa said “What about the rest of you?” “OK, lets go.” Kevin said after everyone else agreed.
Chapter 6
When they arrived at Eat N Park, they sat down in a back room, so not to attract attention. Joe asked them when their birthdays were. Rachel said, “Chelsea’s July 24th, Alyssa’s August 9th, and I’m August 10th. You’re the 15th and Demi’s the 20th. We’re all Leos!” “LEO GROUP HUG!” Shouted Joe, and Chelsea, Rachel, Alyssa, Demi, and Joe all hugged. Nick said “Ok, now that this ‘Lionly Love’ is over, what are you guys getting to eat?”
LATER
“Well, I guess this is goodbye guys!” Chelsea said. The boys were leaving for LA to play in a concert and then to stay at home for a few months. “Yeah. I guess so.” Nick said “do you guys have AIMs?” “Yeah. Mines RaeLizzy764, Alyssa’s is AlyssaAnn87 and Chelsea’s is Chelz1992” Rachel said. “Ok, thanks.” Joe said. “BYE!” all three girls yelled in unison.
EARLY THE NEXT MORNING
The Jonas’s were eating breakfast, and the subject of the girls came up. “Man, that Alyssa is pretty!” Joe said. “Chelsea’s really pretty, too.” Kevin said, “What do you think about Rachel, Nick?” “She’s very funny and kinda pretty too. I’m gonna go see if she’s on AOL.” Nick said. “Nick, its 7:30 AM where she lives. I doubt she’s gonna be on.” Joe said, “Tell you what, if she is on, I’ll give you 5 bucks.” Nick went over to the computer, and Rachel was on. “Ha! Your wrong, Joe! She’s on!”

“RACHEL! LET’S GO!” Rachel’s mom shouted “Ok, chill, I’m coming!” Rachel said. On the ride to band, Rachel and her mom talked about the concert, and other random things. At the school, Rachel said hi to her friend Leah, and then tried to sneak up on her friend, Kaitlyn, but that didn’t work out so well. Kaitlyn turned around and accidentally hit her in the head with her clarinet. Rachel shouted, “OUCH! That hurt. OMG Kaitlyn, you will not believe who I met last night. I met the…” “Jonas Brothers, I know, I was there. So, how HOT is Nick in person?” Kaitlyn asked. “Do I even have to tell you that?” Rachel said giggling. “BAND! B FLAT CONCERT SCALE. 1, 2, READY GO!” the band director shouted.
CHAPTER 7
Rachel, Alyssa and Chelsea were in the car on the way to All Star Atomics cheer practice. They had a competition in LA in a few days, and this was a dress rehersal, so the girls were in their uniforms. “Rachel, where is this competition at?” Chelsea asked. “Umm its at the LA Avengers stadium. Why?” Rachel said “Well, do you think we could invite the Jonas Brothers to the comp?” Chelsea asked, hopeful. “Well I’m sure we could try.” Rachel said, getting excited. She then got out her laptop to try to IM them. “Yes! Kevin’s on! Do you want to talk to him Chelsea?” Rachel asked. “OMG yes!” Chelsea replied.

Chelz12-So were gonna be in LA for a cheer comp, and we wanted to invite you guys.
PKJ432-Oh cool. What day?
Chelz12- Umm we’ll be there tomorrow through next Thursday, the comps on Monday and Tuesday starting at 10:00 At the Avengers stadium.
PKJ432- Cool, we’ll be there. What team are you?
Chelz12- We’re all on All Star Atomics, the hot pink, neon lime green and black.

“They’re coming!!” Chelsea yelled “OHMYGOSH!!” Rachel and Alyssa yelled, super excited. When they got to the gym, Rachel told the coach the news. “Are you serious?” Coach Erika yelled and Rachel said yes and showed her the conversation that Chelsea had with Kevin. “Wow, this is huge!” Erika said, “OK girls, listen up! I have just been informed that there will be a celebrity trio there to watch us at the comp. Do you want to know who it is?” “YES!!!” the squad yelled. “The JONAS BROTHERS are going to be there!” Erika, Alyssa, Chelsea and Rachel yelled “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” the squad screamed. “We want to impress them, so work hard today, OK?” Erika said “YEAH!” the girls yelled and Erika started their music. “’Cause I’m TNT, I’m dynamite, TNT, and I’ll win the fight. TNT, I’m a power load, TNT, watch me EXPLODE!!!...”
MEANWHILE
“Hey guys, would you like to go to a cheerleading competition to see Chelsea Alyssa and Rachel again?” Kevin asked Joe and Nick as they were watching Cars. “Yeah! When?” Nick asked. “Next Monday and Tuesday.” Kevin said. “Awesome!” Nick said. “Yeah, there coming down tomorrow, and staying until next Thursday.” Kevin said. “Well, should I e-mail them and invite them to spend the week hanging out with us?” Joe asked. “Sure!” Kevin and Nick said. “Ok, I’ll do that right now!” Joe said, walking over to the computer.

When the girls go to Rachel’s house, Rachel want to check her e-mail. She saw that she had three new messages, one from Kaitlyn, wishing her luck at the comp, one from Leah, being random, and one from the Jonas Brothers. She read the message and then told Alyssa and Chelsea about it, and they started to jump around and act like maniacs. Rachel turned on the TV, and Camp Rock was on, so they watched that until they fell asleep.
CHAPTER 8
At 3:30 in the morning, Alyssa got a text from Joe.
Hey Alyssa. It’s Joe. We’re going to be performing at the comp, and we wanted to know what songs you girls liked the best. DON’T TELL CHELSEA OR RACHEL, IT’S A SUPPRISE! –Joe
Alyssa responded,
Ok, our faves are Burning Up, SOS and When You Look Me In The Eyes. See you later today! FYI, we’re staying in the Holiday Inn, room #265 –Lyss.
TWO HOURS LATER
“This is an SOS, don’t wanna second guess…” Chelsea’s phone alarm woke Rachel up at 5:00. She was showered and dressed with make-up on, before Alyssa and Chelsea even opened their eyes. “Good morning, Sun Shines!” Rachel said, in an annoying voice. “Come on! Get up and dressed! We’re wearing our black tank tops and our green shorts with ATOMICS on the butt. We get to see the Jonas’s today!” Now that got their attention. They jumped up and ran for the shower, though Chelsea got there first. Alyssa put in the Jonas Brothers CD and ran around the room, screaming. “Ok, Alyssa’s really hyper today, are you ready yet Chelsea?” Rachel asked. “Yeah. Your turn, Alyssa.”Chelsea said coming out of the bathroom completely ready. “OK, please tell me why you are so hyper this morning, Alyssa. It’s getting weird.” Rachel said, pretty freaked out.
IN THE BATHROOM
ALYSSA’S POV
“OK, please tell me why you are so hyper this morning, Alyssa. It’s getting weird.” Rachel said “I would love to, but I can’t!” I whispered to myself in the mirror. When I woke up this morning, I had a new text from Joe, saying that they were going to play their songs right after our performance. So that pumped me up enough to become a morning person for once in my life. I hope my mom never finds out, she’ll expect me to be like this every day…
NARRATOR
A few hours later, the girls were in the air. While on the plane, the girls called into Radio Disney and asked them to play Burnin’ Up, and they did! Then they sang it really loud, and the flight attendant had to lock them in the overhead compartments to shut them up. Then they got off the plane, and into Rachel’s mom’s rental car. As they were driving to the hotel, Rachel was getting really excited to see the Jonas’s again. They pulled up to the hotel, grabbed their 3 bags a piece, and went up to the 2nd floor. They found their room and went inside. Sitting on Rachel’s bed was Nick, on Alyssa’s was Joe, and on Chelsea’s was Kevin! “SURPRISE!!!” The boys yelled, and threw water balloons at them, soaking the girls and their stuff. “OHMIGOSH!” Rachel yelled “That water is freezing!!” and Alyssa said, “We’ll get you back somehow, so watch out!” “OOOH, I’m so scared!” Joe said, laughing. “So, what do you guys want to do today?” Kevin asked, still smiling “Well, I heard that the Red Socks were playing the Indians in the World Series over at the Angel’s park. Wanna see if we can get tickets?” Rachel asked smiling. “Yeah! That would be so cool to see the Red Socks beat the Indi…” Nick started to say, but stopped when he saw the look that the girls were giving him, the that’s-our-home-team-and-you-know-that-their better-than-yours-you-just-won’t-admit-it-now-we-really-want-to-go-see-the-Indians-KICK-BUTT! (A.N. OH YEAH BABY!!!! LOVE THE INDIANS!) Nick continued “I mean to support our fave teams in a great way.” They all busted up laughing and Rachel told her mom what they were doing. She agreed, and the six of them got into Kevin’s car, drove down to the park, and got tickets. Rachel stopped at a souvaneer stand and bought a mask that was an Indian head with feathers on the top. Alyssa and Chelsea saw what she had gotten, and bought one for themselves. They walked up to the boys and showed off their pride by doing a war call and dancing around Rachel, who was doing an idiotic looking dance with a broom. They all found their seats, and the game started. The Indians won 8-6!
CHAPTER 9
After the game was over, Kevin drove Rachel Alyssa and Chelsea to the hotel, and then went home. As soon as they walked in the door, Mrs. Jonas raced up to the boys and said “Oh My Gosh. I’m so glad you guys are home! That stupid band The Naked Brothers just got a new girl lead singer, and she’s pretty good. Apparently their new song 8-6-7-5-3-0-9 is #2 right now, right behind Bunin’ Up. The critics are saying if you don’t get some girls in the band pronto, they could beat you on iTunes.” When she finished everyone was looking at each other with a WHAT-THE-HECK-JUST-HAPPENED-HERE look. Nick then said, “Well, we know three girls that can sing really well. Joe, Kevin, what do you think about Rachel, Chelsea, and Alyssa joining?” “Ohmigosh that’s it! Let’s call them and see if they’ll do it!” Kevin asked, and then dialed the hotel’s phone. He asked for room 265, then waited nervously while it connected. Rachel picked up. “Hello?” she said. “hey Rachel, it’s Kevin. We’re in a really rough spot right now. See the Naked Brothers Band has a new girl in the band, and they’ll top the charts with their song 8-6-7-5-3-0-9 if we don’t get some girls in the band. So what do you say? Will you join along with Alyssa and Chelsea?” Kevin asked. “Well… OMG… I’ll ask Chelz and Lyssa. Can I call you back?” Rachel asked. “Yeah, but by midnight, please.” Kevin said, then hung up.
AT THE HOTEL
After Rachel hung up with Kevin, she sent a text to Chelz and Lyssa, who were at the Starbucks next door. “come back to the room PRONTO! Need to talk to u… URGENT! –Rae” After 5 minutes, Chels and Lyssa bust into the room out of breath. “OMG, whats wrong?!” Clelsea asked. “Well, you know that new band, the Naked brothers? Well they have a new girl singer, and apparently there almost overtaking Jonas… so the guys need our help. They want us in the band. So, what do you guys say? You in?” Rachel asked. “YEAH!!!!” Chelz and Lyss shouted, and Rachel called Kevin to tell him the good news.
