I woke up in the mornin feeling more crappier than ever not to mention tha throbbing migrain that was grinding my brain. suddenly the door bell rang.
'MARIE,could u get that for me thanx!' my mom shoted at the top of her lungs
i opened the door and to my surprise the jonas brothers walked in. normally they would call first which would ultimately make me clean the room but the walzsted in.
'did some one call for backup?' said joe
'no actually sent for"WHAT THE HEELL ARE U DOING HERE"' i randomly shouted
'ooh someones in a cranky mood.truth is we missed u..so thats why needed to see u.'nick saidd
"you know ther is something called a phone..its the shiny thing in ur pocket" i replied
'i was being sarcastic'nick grinned
kevin entered the room and hugged me with frankie close behind him.i could see that they were tired so showed them the guestrooms where they could get comfy and walked into the kitchen nick came in and we started talking


NICK:u know its true io did miss u and somethings up so cough it up
he said moving closer to me
ME:u know i would cough but i think ud get a cold
NICK:humour doesnt get u out of everything damarie i know u
ME:ok fine it was probably going to get out.am going deaf in one ear nick
NICK:no damarie u said that woludnt happen we were sure
ME: i have to go surgery to fix it but i hate the surgery room amd part of the problem is that am still mad at u for themovie incident ,how could u stand me up?
nick was getting irritated and he moved away
NICK:stood u up i didnt i promised u that on ur bday i would ......
he paused
NICK:oh d am so sorry i missed u birthday gosh am such an idiot
ME: an idiot who is going to see me through surgery.and anything worse
NICK:i wuoldnt miss it for the world
Nick leaned in and we kissed and held each other so closely that icould our hearts beating as one
and it was a great feeling


Chapter 2
after the operation things went a little sour. it wasn't the same any more.we slowly drifted apart and soon there were no jonas brothers running wild in our house it became boring.my parents got jobs in ke nya with a friends wildlife trust.soon my dad was in politics and before i knew it running for a seat in parliament.We lived in Nairobi but branched and started business in the eastern region which i have to say was quite dry.i became african,okay lets face it i moved to the states when i was 2 so i was always an african just not after the age of 2.Kenya soon became a nightmare when mu dad became huge in politics and soon it was overwhelming.What was i doing in this world seriously what was in it for me. I missed them i honestly did.my parents moved me to an all girls catholic school which evidently i hated and to this day still do. i hated everyone in it but i had to stick ith it cause it was my only option.meanwhile as i continued to hate my life Kenya was hit by the deadly ghost of famine and drought.i had to do sonething.I have never cried at the sight of caskets but when its a mass burial you tend to do that. no food on the table while tycoons in the u.s have billions in banks saved up for dinners and banquets no i had to do somethingso my mom and i gave out food clothes and some other essentials but how are we to cover a 584,600 squared kilometres of a country, so i called nick

NICK:Damarie is that you
ME:ya it is am i know your not in the mood for some foolish stories and talk on how i miss you.....
NICK:so you dont, miss me
ME:are you stupid of course i do you will always be a friend i need something huge and just promise you wont laugh
NIDK:you need help with the food shortage and such stuff.
ME:how did you know
NICK:its not hard when cnn is busy with those inside africa stuff,just tell me u r ok just say that your not starving please say you r ok.
ME:am fyn we can manage the economic crunch.
NICK:nice to hear stay in touch al see if we can help nd then .......

a girls voice is heard from the backround:hey babe do you want anything am going to the mall.
NICK:no am fyn... Marie am sorryi didnt call before its just that am busy
ME:its ok not that am not used to it ,my dad is busy all the time i need to go bye and thanks.

i cut the phone because i couldnt stand the girls voice who was kissisn him so loud it hurt me so i said it would be a relationship based on savin kenya and nothin more.
