Hey guys!!! You will NEVER believe it!!! Last night, I got a call from the JONAS BROTHERS!!!!! I left a message for their fan number, and they called me back!!!!! When I answered, they said, "Hey Katelyn!!! How are you tonight?" I was like, "Good. What made you call me?" Joe said, "Well, we heard your message and decided to call you. You are one of our MANY great fans. Thank you so much for supporting us." Then Nick said, "Yeah. Thanks. Are you going to watch the Inaugral on Disney Channel tonight? You know, we're gonna be performing." I said, "Why wouldn't I? You guys rock and I wouldn't miss it for the world!!! Then Kevin said, "Thank you Katelyn. You are truly devoted, aren't you?" I said, "Yeah I am!! So are many other people around the world." They all shouted, "Whoo!!" I laughed. Then, at the same time, they said, "Well, we gotta go. Maybe we'll talk again. Bye Katelyn!!!" I said, "Bye!!!! Talk to ya soon, maybe!!" Then we said bye again and they hung up!!!! OMJ!!! Jonas overload!!!!!!!

OMJ, I am SO happy for Kevin!!!! He was voted on of the "Top 129 Sexiest Men" in People Magazine!!!! He was somewhere in the "Group 21" category!!!!!! Zac Efron was there too!!!!

It's official!! I'm in J-O-N-A-S Luv!!!!!

Chapter 1

               "Katelyn? Katelyn? Are you there? If you don't answer me, I'm hanging up." I looked down at my phone. "Gimme a sec Amber. I'm trying to find something to wear." Amber laughed. "We're just going to the mall. Does it matter what you wear?" I scowled. "Yes it does. You never know who you might see in there." I was recalling the time I wore a mini skirt in the mall and a skimpy tank top. I ran into my crush in the music store. "Katelyn, it's not like Beyonce is going to be there judging outfits. Calm down. We're just going to get new clothes. Wear something casual and when we buy something, you can wear whatever you bought. As long as it's cool." I gave up. "Ok." I threw on my "I Love Nick" t-shirt and my holey Aeropostale jeans. "Meet you there in 45 minutes. No more and no less." "Ok Katelyn. I'm walking out the door right now." My heart gave a jolt. Amber hung up. Either something good was coming, or I'm just scared half out of my wits.

Chapter 2

               I arrived at the Asheville Mall, purse full of cash. Amber was waiting for me in her car at the front door. "Katelyn, you're late. You were supposed to be here 20 minutes ago. You're lucky I waited on you. I was getting ready to tell my mom to come on. I'm ready to hit Hollister!!!!" Amber always whines about Hollister. "I'm sorry. I had to stop at McDonalds. You know I get hungry when I'm on the road. And besides, I skipped breakfast." I gave her my puppy dog face. "Ok. I'm sorry I snipped at you. You know how I  get when I need to get new clothes, especially Hollister." Here we go again. She never shuts up about Hollister. I like Hollister, but not the way she does. She's crazy about Hollister like I'm crazy about the Jonas Brothers. I never shut up about them. We walked into the mall.

Chapter 3

               After 5 minutes of roaming around Hollister, my stomach growled. "Katelyn, I swear. You are always hungry." I looked at her." I can't help it. When you're small you tend to get that way. I'll be right back." She scowled. "Ok. So much for a BFF's day out." "Amber, we do this every other weekend. 15 minutes won't hurt anyone. Besides, it's 12:30 and your mom won't be back until 7:05."  Amber looked confused. "She said 7:00. Why do you say 7:05?" I tried to get my serious face on. "Because your mom is always 5 minutes late for EVERYTHING." I made my point. I turned around, and started walking toward the food court.

Chapter 4

               I walked up to Chick Fillet and ordered 3 plain chicken sandwiches. "Hey there beautiful, what's your name?" My heart jolted again. I knew that voice, but I only heard it on TV, the radio, and my computer. I turned around. Instead of looking up, I looked at my shoes. "My name is Katelyn. And yours?" I heard 2 other people snicker. "Why don't you look up and find out. Judging by your shirt, I should probably back up." I looked up. There, right in front of me, in the flesh, the light beautiful flesh, was Nick Jonas. Joe and Kevin were right behind him, rolling with laughter. "What?" They stopped. "Sorry miss. It's not everyday Nick walks up behind a cute girl like you and asks her name. You are very lucky." Joe smiled after saying that. "Wanna hug?" I laughed. "Kevin, you're going to scare her away. Joe, she's getting the impression you like her. I like her and I saw her first." "Nick J is off the chain. Whenever he's near fear his name," Joe and Kevin said at the same time. "Here Katelyn, let me pay for that. You need your shopping money. Heck, I might buy all your stuff." I smiled as Nick payed for my food, and walked with me to a table for two.

Chapter 5

               As I went to sit down, Joe pulled my seat out from under me. "Ow!!," I said. Joe started laughing. Nick glared at him, then put my food down. "Joe, leave her alone. If you do one more thing to her, I'll...I'll....oh forget it. You'll see when it happens." I smiled inside as I rubbed the back of my leg. I hopped up in my seat. Joe went back in line with Kevin. "So Katelyn......are you from around Asheville?" "No, actually, I live an hour away from here. Have you ever heard of Burnsville?" He looked at me funny. "No, I've never heard of it." I took a bite of my sandwich and swallowed. "Well, it's really small. We don't have much there. The closest thing to a mall we have is our "Redneck Mall."" He gave me another strange look. ""Redneck Mall"?" I nodded. "It's Wal Mart." He laughed. My heart melted. I let out a sigh. "Nick, what happened to Selena?" He looked at me. "I really don't wanna talk about it. It happened so quick." There goes my heart jolting again. I had to say something. "What happened?" He looked angry. "Sorry." "No, Katelyn. Don't be sorry. I at least owe it to you to tell you. This is what happened. I called her on her phone and talked to her for a while. She got a text message and told me to wait. When she got back on she said, 'Sorry Nick. But I have to break up with you.' She started crying and hung up." I think I saw a tear roll down his left cheek. "What does it matter. I knew it would happen one day. Are you going to eat those?" I looked at my other 2 sandwiches. "No. All of a sudden I'm not hungry anymore." Oh no. I forgot about Amber!!!! "Nick, I gotta run. My BFF Amber is waiting for me!!! I was supposed to be back 10 minutes ago!!! She probably hates me!!!" "Relax. Hey where's Joe?" Kevin walked up to us. "Uh guys? Katelyn especially. I think you might wanna check out your friend."

Chapter 6

               "Amber!!!" I ran as quickly as I could to the point in the Ice Cream stand line where Joe and Amber were lost in a lip-lock. "Amber!! How could you?" Shock ran accross Amber's face. "But...but..he's hot!!!! And besides, he kissed me back." Joe winked at her. Then he winked at me. I think I smiled. "Joe, if you wanna get back together with Taylor, I suggest you stay away from people 5 YEARS YOUNGER THAN YOU!!!!" Joe snorted at Nick's words. "What about you Nick? Katelyn is, like, 10, and you're 16." I started crying. "I'm 13. 14 next month. December 17th." Nick glared at Joe. Kevin walked in between them. "Guys, settle down. I knew the first minute Nick layed eyes on Katelyn, something would happen." I gave Kevin a hug. "Thank you," I whispered in his ear. "You're welcome," he whispered in mine. Amber looked at me, fire in her eyes. "Oh Katelyn. You will pay for this. My first chance with a hot guy and you RUIN IT!!!!" Kevin and Nick jumped in front of me, Amber knocking them down. "You stupid, lazy, oh I can't say it. You'll push me one of these days to call you it. But right now, it's my turn to push YOU!!!!" Amber kicked me in the leg, bringing me to the floor. I screamed. She grabbed my hair, and jerked me up. "This is the way I feel right now. Like someone is beating me up. You know I've never kissed anyone. You took that from me. My first real kiss, and YOU TOOK IT!!!" She slammed me to the ground. I saw her foot raise up, then total darkness. The last thing I heard was Nick say, "Call an ambulance!! She's bleeding!!! Don't leave me!! I..." Then back to total darkness.

Chapter 7

               I didn't open my eyes, but I could tell it was dark. I don't know how, but I can. It's a gift, I guess. I heard voices in front of my bed. Selena Gomez was talking to Nick. "I can't tell you why I broke up with you. If I do, you'll be mad and so will someone else." Then I heard Nick. "Who will be mad? And why would I be mad?" Selena started crying and ran out of the room. I spoke. "Where......where......am I?" Nick walked to my side. "You're in the hospital. That Amber girl hurt you really bad. You have a concussion from when she stomped on your head. Then when you blacked out, she punched and kicked your neck, giving you some kind of neck trauma. I thought I lost you until Kevin gave you CPR. I helped, too. He did it for, like, 3 minutes. Then I gave you one breath, and you were breathing again. Kevin saved your life, Katelyn." I opened my eyes and smiled. Afraid he would hurt me, Nick gave me a small kiss on my cheek. He whispered, "I love you." "I love you, too," I said. I tried to turn my head, but screamed in pain instead. Nick softly told me it's ok. I started crying. "But it hurts SOOO bad." "I know Katelyn, but everything will be alright as soon as you're out of here." I tried to force a smile. Kevin walked in the room. "There's my little trooper. We thought we lost you." I smiled at Kevin. I smile ALOT. "Thanks for saving me." Kevin smiled back. "Nah, it was all Nick. He's got what I call "Power Lungs." One breath and you were breathing again as if nothing happened." I laughed, squinting back the pain in my neck. "Here you go Katelyn. I got you this." He handed me a little dog that looked like my dog, Sandy. He had it personalized. On it's nametag, it said "Sandy." On the back of it, it had her date of birth and the day she died. This is what it looked like: 1/10/05 ~ 9/29/08. On both of the dog's sides it said: "My best friend. Love always lasts. Till death do we part, I'll still love you. Always and forever." I started crying and told Kevin thank you. Nick's eyes got really big. "That reminds me!! Katelyn, close your eyes." I did. A minute later, he told me to open them. He handed me a little teddy bear that said "I Love You." I said thank you, and Nick bent down so I could kiss his cheek. "Where's Joe?" I asked. Nick and Kevin looked at each other. "He's still at the mall with Amber." They scowled at her name. "Why Amber? She's always been in love with you, Nick. Me and her would argue over who dates you first. Maybe she just realizes she can't have you." Nick started to sing the song, "Can't Have You." I smiled. He quit and whispered something to Kevin. Then, they both started to sing, "When You Look Me In The Eyes." I closed my eyes, and drifted off into a peaceful sleep, holding dear to me my teddy bear and dog.
