CHAPTER 1 MELANIE'S HOUSE.
"Guys, this is really boring" Brianna sighed.
"Yeah Megan, can't we do something else besides spending hours looking at pics of Nick J??"
"HOLD ON GUYS!!!! Just one more picture... pleassssse."
"FINE!!" they both yelled.
It was the first month of summer and Brianna and Melanie were alreayd bored out of their minds. They were wanting to do something fun and exciting.
"We have to have a good story to tell when we go back to school." Brianna had explained the day before
"We already went to a Jonas Brothers concert last weekend and got awesome seats. Isnt that enough?" Megan asked.
"No! It's not enough"
"So what are you planning on doing then?" Megan asked curiously.;
"I dont know. I was hoping you guys had an idea."
Megan and Melanie threw a couple of pillows at Brianna's head. They had went to the most AH-Mazing concert the weekend before. and today they were tired but bored out of their minds. Brianna was wearing her custom-made soffe shorts that said JONAS on the butt and another custom made white t-shirt with the jonas brothers picture on it and a couple of hearts thrown in. Megan was wearing a black t-shirt with Nick's picture on it that said Mrs. Nick Jonas on the back and a pair of sweatpants that said JONAS down the side. Melanie, on the other hand had went all out. So what if it was summer? The jonas brothers always wear pants in the summer. Melanie was wearing red pants, a gray shirt with the Jonas Brothers cd cover picture on it and a black vest.
"Lets take a walk" Brianna said.
"Yeah like we dont do that enough" Megan exclaimed.
"Anything but staring at a computer screen filled with the world's cutest boys plastered on it... My eyes are starting to burn!!"
Megan slipped on her unionbay skull sneakers, Melanie laced up her black airwalk canvas shoes, and Brianna threw on her flip flops. Like always. They were about to head out the door when Melanie yelled...
"WAIT! I forgot something!"
She ran in her room and threw on her white joe jonas mimmiking sunglasses, grabbed Brianna's brown sunglasses, and Megan's attempt to copying Nick Jonas's sunglasses. Then she grabbed her cell phone and headed out the door trying to catch up with Megan and Brianna.
"Let's go to subway, we haven't eaten lunch yet."
"Sounds good"
They walked 10 blocks to subway and raced each other to the door. Megan opened the door and they all felt the cool rush of air conditioning as they tripped over each other inside.Then they saw three people talking to the cashier. One person on their cell phone, sounding frustrated and the other two asking the cashier questions.
"Hey, Melanie... looks like another joe obsessed fan!" Megan pointed out the red pants on one of the people.
"IN OUR TOWN?!?!?!?! NO WAY!!! LET'S GO SAY HI!!"
Melanie walked quickly up to the person in the red pants and introduced herself.
"Hi, I'm melanie. I just couldn't help but notice your red pants and was wondering....."
"OH" megan gasped and yelled.
"MY" Brianna started tearing up.
"JONASSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Melanie screamed.
CHAPTER 2 SUBWAY
"WHOAH!" Kevin said as he put down his phone and turned around.
"Look Joe, It's like looking in a mirror" Nick laughed, just before megan and brianna attacked him with a group hug.
Melanie realized that joe was also wearing his red pants and white sunglasses. Then she quickly turned around and gave Kevin the biggest hug she'd ever gave in her whole life.
"Looks like someone is a fan of Kevin" Joe said giggling.
"No No. I dont have a favorite... well i dont know. I guess you could say joe is my favorite.. but I love Kevin's smile and well how can you not love nick?"
"So then why are you all over kevin like he just said the next person to give him a hug would win a new iPhone???" Joe asked.
"BEE-CAUSE" Melanie yelled over the noise of everyone talking. "On August 13th 2007, Brianna and I went to the concert in Indiana. And then we went to the meet and greet I came up to kevin and gave him my CD to sign. He tried to sign it but his sharpie wasnt working..."
"i remember that!" Kevin said with a smile.
"really??!!! awww.." Melanie blushed.
"OK get on with the story" Megan rolled her eyes and Brianna tried not to giggle.
"ok so kevin's sharpie wasnt working. so it took him a while to sign my CD and by the time he had a OK signature on it, the person behind me was getting inpatient and pushed me out of the way before i could give him a hug" Melanie explained with a frown.
"Aw... I'm sorry" kevin said and gave melanie another hug.
"so what are you guys doing here?" brianna finally asked.
"Well we had a concert on saturday near here..." nick started.
"WE KNOW!!!!!" Megan, Melanie, and Brianna practically screamed.
"yeah it was so amazing OW!!!!! why'd you hit me??"
"let him finish!!" brianna said
"ok well we decided that we would stay here another day since our radio show interview got cancelled and we had nothing else to do. So this morning we were kind of bored.. and thats when we decided to check out the mall. And well our driver kind of got lost on the way there since he's never been here before"
"some driver!" megan blurted
"HEYY!!!! We should come with you!!!! melanie and megan know exactly where the mall is!!" brianna started jumping up and down.
"Don't you know where the mall is too?" kevin asked looking confused.
"Ohhh. No im from Australia" Brianna said as she winked at megan and melanie.
"REALLY?!?!"Joe asked looking excited and confused at the same time. "Wait, you dont have an accent though."
"I was just kidding. Im actually from wisconsin." Brianna said while all three girls started laughing "Melanie used to live in wisconsin too until we were 8, then she moved down here and we go to each other's houses for a week at a time in the summer."
"oh yeah by the way my name is Brianna"
"and im Megan"
"WHATS UP??!! WHATS UP??!! MY NAME IS MRS. DJ DANGA!! aka Melanie."
"good one!!!" Joe said giving her a high five.
"well lets get this show on the road..." Nick said as he walked out the door with one arm around megan and one arm around brianna. both of them with a huge smile on their face. melanie looked at joe, then turned and looked at kevin. Next thing you know, she had her arm around each of their wastes, kevin and joe laughing hysterically at one of their number one fans.
CHAPTER 3 THE MALL FOOD COURT
Melanie, Megan,and Brianna walked into the mall food court, while joe, nick, kevin, and big rob trailed behind, the jonas boys putting on glasses and hats so people wouldnt recognize them.
"LETS EAT" melanie said.
"Yeah we were going to eat at subway but kind of got distracted" Megan giggled.
"Anyone want to share japanese with me?" Melanie asked.
"EW" Brianna and megan said at the same time.
"I will" kevin offered.
"YAY!" Melanie said.
"I'm going to subway, sicne thats what we planned in the first place" megan said while brianna nodded in agreement.
Joe and Nick got some pizza and they all returned to the table where big rob was sitting.
"So you guys are big jonas brothers fans?" Nick asked.
"yep" all three girls said at once.
"How old are you three?" Joe asked.
"13, 14, and 15" Melanie answered.
"Thats cool."
"Yeah we are gonna be freshman this year!" Megan said.
"So what are you guys' hobbies?" Kevin asked.
"I love swimming" Melanie blurted. "OH and listening to music" she winked. megan and brianna playfully rolled their eyes.
"I like volleyball, basketball, swimming umm... lets see.... going to the beach on lake michigan" Brianna said.
"Yeah i pretty much like what they like, sept i like softball too" Megan said.
"OH! and i like badmitten. sorry had to think for a while" melanie answered again.
"thats awesome, so did you guys like the concert last weekend?" joe said.
"yes! especially the parts where joe and nick do flips. how do you guys do that???" brianna asked.
"it takes a lot of practice" joe answered.
"Umm excuse us, i have to go to the bathroom" Melanie explained.
Megan and brianna exchanged confused glances and followed melanie into the bathroom.
"OK ARE WE AT THE MALL WITH THE JONAS BROTHERS OR AM I DREAMING???!!!" Melanie said looking confused.
"Umm.. yeah i think we ARE at the mall with the jonas brothers" Brianna said
Melanie started pinching herself over and over again feeling relieved everytime she didnt feel any different. Megan dragged her back to the table
"So do you guys randomly hang out with your fans often???" Melanie asked.
"well we talked about it and sicne we were planning on going to the mall today, 3 extra people wouldnt hurt us. especially if its our fans. you guys are awesome." kevin said.
"yeah we love our fans" joe added.
melanie rested her chin on her hand and stared at joe all googley eyed.
"is she gonna be okay?" nick asked.
"shes fine, lets go shopping!" brianna said after hitting melanie.
CHAPTER 4 THE MALL
They walked in to Forever 21 and megan and melanie immediatly started looking at the same dress.
"Isnt this cute??!" Melanie asked megan. Megan nodded.
"sorry guys.. i know this isnt really a guy store" brianna sympathized.
"its fine, we'll help you guys pick out stuff for your FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!" Joe said pretending to sound like a overbearing mother.
brianna started cracking up and went over to a t-shirt.
"Whats about this?" she asked kevin
"PARFAIT!" kevin said.
"YOU KNOW FRENCH??!!" Brianna asked amazed.
Nick followed megan and melanie and waited outside the dressing room for them to try on their twin dresses. They both came out megan with a smile and melanie looking awkward.
"I dont think this dress is for me" she laughed. it was practically to the floor. "I'm kinda short"
"Yeah" Nick said. "It looks good on you though" he told megan.
"really??!!" she asked. "by the way i love ur shoes today nick" she gushed.
suddenly joe came over with one of the wigs from the mannequins on along with a hat, scarf, glasses, and plenty of jewelry.
"Oh girls, i saw a LOVEELYYYY floral turtleneck over their somewhere" he said in his mother voice again.
megan laughed hysterically and melanie started rolling on the floor laughing.
"hey whats going on over here??" kevin asked with brianna by his side holding a t-shirt.
Brianna turned to look at joe and started cracking up.
"Umm i think joe needs to stop at a man store before he turns any more girly" she managed to say through her laughter.
CHAPTER 5 THE WATERPARK
"You know there arent really any good stores here, no offense" Kevin said.
"yeah i know" melanie laughed "so where do you wanna go then???"
"CHUCK E CHEESE!!!" joe yelled. everyone started laughing.
"ok so seriously, where are we gonna go??? there's not much to do here." brianna asked.
"I KNOW!!! THE WATER PARK!!!!!" Melanie yelled with excitement.
all seven of them made their way into the waterpark after stopping by melanie's house and the joans brother's hotel to get swimming suits/trunks. big rob made himself comfortable on a lounge chair while the other went running to the tube slide.
"NO RUNNING!!" yelled a lifegaurd.melanie rolled her eyes and started to walk while the rest kept running.
"HEY GUYS!! WAIT UP!! he said no running!!" she screamed while fast-walking.
"do you always have to follow the rules?" megan asked.
"yeah live a little!!" joe said "you can ride double with me on the tube slide."
"AHHHHHHHH!" melanie girly screamed and started running.
they all got up to the front of the line and melanie & joe went down then brianna & kevin and finally megan & nick.
megan and nick flipped over at the end, they all staretd laughing and burst out into a splashing fight.
"HEY NO SPLASHING IN THE LAZY RIVER!!" yelled the same lifegaurd.
"he's just jealous cause we're all so good-looking" joe said.
they laughed and looked up at the lifegaurd, who had a major unibrow. then they all started laughing even harder.
"this is boring, im going to the body slide." megan said
"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" they all yelled as they jumped out of the lazy river and made their way to the body slide.
there was a huge line for the body slide. they were waiting on the stairs when suddenly melanie saw someone familiar.
"hey collin!" she yelled.
"ohhh heyy!" he said to the girls and then noticed the three guys standing by them.
"HEY ITS THE MAN-BAND!" collin said.
"guys, this is collin. he goes to me and megan's school." melanie said
"hey i'm..." joe started to say until collin cut him off.
"no no! wait let me geuss.... you are uhh... JOE!"
"yeah" joe laughed.
"yes! OK and you are kevin! u have awesome guitar skills!"
"thanks" kevin said smiling.
"and you..." collin said pointing to nick "ummmmm..." he stroked his chin "NICK!"
"good job collin!" megan said, half making fun of him. brianna started laughing.
"yeah i like collin cuz...."
"WHAT??!!!" Brianna, Collin, and Megan all said at the same time.
"AS A FRIEND, because hes like the only guy i know that doesnt make fun of you guys" she said looking at the jonas brothers with a smile.
"other guys are just jealous" nick said.
"thats what i say!" megan, brianna, and melanie said at the same time. "well how could they not be?" melanie asked while giggling.
"so what did you three win a contest or something?" collin asked the girls.
"umm.. no i geuss it was just fate!" brianna said.
"ok well i geuss i'll see you 2 later... when school starts" collin said to melanie and megan then went down the slide, screaming the whole way down. they all started laughing.
CHAPTER 6 SAYING GOODBYE
After they got done swimming and got dressed, Melanie, Megan, Brianna, Nick, Joe, and Kevin stood in the lobby of the jonas brother's hotel.
"well i geuss we wont see you guys anytime in the near future" melanie said with a frown.
"yeah with your busy scheduale and everything" brianna said.
"i mean its not that we're not happy for you. you guys are so busy but your dreams have finally come true. you guys are so famous now" megan said. brianna and melanie nodded.
"ohhh come on guys" nick exclaimed. "we'll probably see you at a concert or something..... right??" megan, brianna, and melanie stood there smiling but were felt truly sad on the inside.
"HEY I KNOW!" joe yelled. "you guys should give us your phone numbers!... cause well you know ours change a lot. people trying to get a hold of us and everything"
"OK." brianna melanie and megan said as they each gave the boys a copy of their phone numbers.
"well goodbye" melanie said as she gave them each a hug.
"we'll miss you!" brianna said.
"see ya.... hopefully." megan said.
the boys waved as megan, melanie, and brianna walked out of the hotel.
"i wonder if they ever actually will call us" melanie said.
"psh. i doubt it. we all know how busy they always are" brianna said.
"way to look on the bright side guys!!" megan said with a frown.
"yeah. megan's right. we just had an awesome day with the jonas brothers. i mean, how many of their fans get that?? and we even got pictures with them"
"yep!" megan and brianna exclaimed with big smiles.
CHAPTER 7 SOMETHING UNEXPECTED
Melanie woke up with a smile on August first. She walked over to her countdown to the "Little Bit Longer" jonas brothers CD coming out.
"only twelve more days" she said to her empty room.
she walked into the kitchen still smiling.
"did you have another dream with the jonas brothers in it last night?" her mom asked jokingly,
"no." melanie laughed "it just feels like today is going to be a good day."
"OK then" her mom said. "oh by the way megan called"
"why am i not surprised?" melanie said while she looked at the clock. it was only 9:00 a.m.
she picked up the phone and dialed megan's number.
"Hey. my mom said you called"
"yeah" megan said.
"sooo...? whats up?" melanie asked.
"oh i was just bored. what are you doing today?"
melanie heard a beeping sound.
"hold on i have another call" melanie said. "i wonder who it would be." she though to herself. "chelsea?, katie?, emily?" she thought more then quickly pressed the send button.
"Hello?"
"Heyyyyyyy Melanie" it was a guy's voice.
"Ummm... who the heck is this?" she asked.
"Guys, she doesnt know who i am!" the guy voice said.
melanie heard a "lets give her a hint" on the other line. suddenly she heard NICK and JOE singing S.O.S.
"KEVIN!!!!!" she yelled at the phone while clutching her desk so she wouldnt fall over.
"omg i thought you would never call. i mean wow. i hope im not holding you up. what did you want to say? do you have time to talk or am i making you late for something? i cant believe i didnt recognize your voice! OMG!!" melanie speed-talked.
"ok first of all CALM DOWN!" she heard joe say.
"sorry." she breathed out slowly "ok whats up?" she said in a content voice.
"well we had these extra V.I.P. passes to our album release party and we were told we could give them to whoever we wanted that wasnt on the list. and we remembered these three awesome girls helping us find the mall and having a great day with them. so are you interested?" nick said.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" melanie girly screamed.
"i'll take that as a yes" kevin said.
"wait wait wait, how many extra passes do you have?" melanie asked curiously.
"why do you ask?" kevin said.
"well i was hoping you would have four and not just three because there was one person that wasnt with us that day we met you. she was out running for cross-country. her name is chelsea. she also loves you guys. and she's blonde" melanie said with hope.
"SHE'S IN!" joe said.
melanie couldn't stop laughing, then finally said "ok thank you so much. i can't wait to see you guys again. im geussing the party's on the 12th. but where is it and what time?"
"it starts at 7:00 and goes until who knows when. and its in Chicago" nick said.
"PARFAIT!!!!" melanie yelled, smiling ear to ear. "should i tell megan, brianna, and chelsea? or would you like to do the honors??"
"we'll take care of it" kevin said. "we just need chelsea's number."
melanie gave them chelsea's number and said "OK i love you guys!!! bye!!!"
CHAPTER 8 EXCITING STUFF
within ten minutes melanie was on a four-way call with chelsea, megan, and brianna.
Brianna: i can't believe them. they are the nicest famous people on earth!
Megan: i know. i never thought they would have actually ever called us, let alone invited us to their release party.
Melanie: yes. they are so amazing.
Chelsea: wow.
Brianna: and the fact that its in chicago is too perfect.
Melanie: totally. my dad already agreed to taking chelsea, megan, and me there.
Megan: i wonder who else will be there
Melanie: demi lovato?
Brianna: hopefully.
Chelsea: wow.
Melanie: so what are we going to wear?
Megan: i have no idea.
Brianna: SHOPPING TRIP!
Chelsea: wow.
Melanie: umm... i think chelsea is still in shock. are you ok chelsea?
Chelsea: um y-y-yeah. joe was the one who called me. when i answered the phone he said "hey chelsea, this is joe jonas. your friend melanie told me to give you a call. by the way im totally into blondes."
Brianna & Melanie & Megan: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHHAAAHHHHHAAAHAHAHAHAAHAH!!!
Melanie: ok well i'll meet you guys tomorrow at the mall. see ya.
Brianna & Megan & Chelsea: bye!
CHAPTER 9 THE MALL (AGAIN)
"HELLO!" Chelsea, Megan, and Melanie said to each other when they met at the mall.
"you know it really sucks that brianna cant be here, especially now." melanie said
"yeah" chelsea and megan said while exchanging awkward glances. they never really knew quite what to say when melanie missed brianna.
"she said she's gonna be at the mall today too" megan piped up.
"yeah.... she's probably already there. she wakes up early cuz it takes like 45 minutes for her mom to get to the green bay mall" melanie said sympathetically.
"wow. they dont have a good mall anywhere else near them?" chelsea asked.
"nope"
"wow" chelsea said again while megan and melanie LOL-ed. remembering chelsea's over-use of the word the day before.
"well should we head over to forever 21 or aeropostale?" melanie asked.
"we'll go to aero first in case they have cute shirts there, forever 21 usually has the best skinny jeans" megan exclaimed.
"im thinking about getting a skirt actually, maybe." melanie said while she thought. "WAIT I KNOW!!!!!!!!!" she screamed.
chelsea jumped from the sudden "melanie-scream" and megan started laughing at her.
"ok whats your 'great idea' this time?" megan asked melanie with a smirk. she was always thinking of clothing ideas.
"well are you ready for a fashion statement?" melanie asked while raising her eyebrows.
"sure. just tell us your idea." chelsea said impatiently.
"WAIT, i need brianna on speaker." melanie said while she starting dialing on her cell.
Melanie: heyy bri.
Brianna: hey. *yawn* im still in the car. we're almost to green bay.
Melanie: ok i have an idea for what we are going to wear to the release party. is everyone listening?
she heard three YES's.
"first of all, Brianna, does the Green Bay mall have a claire's and a forever 21?" melanie asked.
"yes" she answered tiredly.
"ok megan, chelsea, do you remember those tutu's at claire's the other day?"
"yeah. those were so cute" megan said.
"OK GET THIS! we wear those over skinny jeans from Forever 21!"
"do we all have to be matching??" chelsea asked.
"no" melanie answered "pick out whatever colors you want. and whatever shirt you want. just 2 key points, SKINNY JEANS and TUTU's"
CHAPTER 10 GETTING READY
It was August 11th. all four girls were preparing for the big party.
MELANIE--
she woke up excitedly and did the last check of her CD countdown. then walked over to her desk to look at her notes of things all four girls needed to have ready before tomorrow. and the clothing arrangements. she had picked out the pink tutu from claires, along with a pair of black skinny jeans from forever 21 along with a light pink cami from aero and a jean jacket/cardigan with white converse that had silver stars on them. megan picked out the black tutu, with a pair of darkwash skinny jeans, a marron and light blue striped henley from aeropostale and her maroon and light blue custom-made converse. chelsea had also picked out a pink tutu that she paired with dark gray skinny jeans, a white tanktop, and a zipper-up sweatshirt from Forever 21 with a heart and burberry pattern on it with black onverse. brianna picked out the light blue tutu with black skinny jeans, the same converse as melanie, and a t-shirt with different colors of blue "1987" written on it from earopostale. "everything will be perfect" melanie thought as she stepped into the shower. she got out 30 minutes later with a "missed call" message on her phone. it was chelsea.
CHELSEA--
"melanie! what they heck am i gonna do with my hair tomorrow! its curlier than ever and totally out of control!" chelsea practically yelled.
"tell me about it. i have the exact opposite problem. my hair is just so flat. i geuss i will have to curl mine tomorrow" she said calmly.
"WHAT ABOUT ME??!!" chelsea asked.
"ok calm down." melanie laughed. " i will come over tomorrow morning - EARLY! - and straighten your hair for you. i just got this new straightener from QVC that moisturizes and straightens at the same time and makes your hair straighter than ever. you should have seen it on TV, they were straightening girls' hair that were curlier than yours. and they were dried out. there hair came out as straight as mine and as moisturized as a movie-stars"
"thank god!" chelsea said while saying a little thank you prayer for her great friend.
"you know what? why dont you just sleepover tonight. so we can get a fresh start at your hair tomorrow morning" melanie said.
"OKEY DOKEY!"
MEGAN--
she woke up at 6:00 am to take her dog for a walk.
"tomorrow is going to be the best day of my life jack." she said to her dog, who looked up at her smiling.
when she got home, she sat on the couch and woke up 2 hours later when her phone started ringing. she chekced the caller ID. it was Melanie.
"hello?" megan said.
"hey? ok geuss what? so tomorrow is the party. i was thinking you guys should sleepover since i probably wont be able to sleep tonight and chelsea's already sleeping over so i can straighten her hair tomorrow so yeah can you sleepover cuz i am like SUPER-EXCITED and my brother and parents keep making fun of me. actusally i think im kinda nervous cuz im talking an awful lot but i just cant help it. i mean we are actually going to a party tomorrow for the JONASBROTHERSNEWCD!!AHHHH!!!!!!" melanie was speed-talking again.
"yeah ok i will be over tonight around 7:00" megan said "bye" it didnt matter how excited she was. she was still determined to get some sleep tonight. otherwise she would fall asleep at the party tomorrow. she wasnt one to stay up late.
BRIANNA--
brianna woke up and walked into the living room to see her sister Hailey watching spongebob.
"Helloooooo Hailey!" she said with a smile "do you want some breakfast honey??"
"ok number one. stop being so happy, its only 8:00 am. number two yes i would love some breakfast." hailey said.
"OKEY DOKEYY!!! " brianna said as she walked into the kitcen.
"oh yeah!" hailey yelled from the living room
brianna popped back into the living room and said "yes?"
"DO NOT call me honey!!!" she said.
"SORR-EEEEEEE!" brianna said happyily. nothing could ruin this day or her day tomorrow. she was going to meet the jonas brothers for the third time. she knew she would die happy when she was an old lady after all her jonas-encounters. and this one -particularly- was going to be a party.
CHAPTER 11 GOODMORNING.
Melanie woke up at 4:00 a.m. for the third time that night/morning.
"chelsea are you asleep?" she whispered. obviously megan was asleep. no matter how excited she was.. she always ended up sleeping by 10:00.
"no." chelsea said out loud. "i've probably gotten like 15 minutes of sleep all night. im way too excited for that S thing" melanie started laughing.
"lets go upstairs and get some coffee or mountain dew or something" melanie said getting out of bed. "and we can get a head start on your hair."
"ok but what about megan?" chelsea asked.
"psh! she has already gotten like 8 hours of sleep. she wont need any caffiene tonight!" melanie explained.
they walked up the stairs quietly and melanie sat at the table with some coffee and chelsea with a vault. melanie got out her cell phone and dialed brianna's number. she heard the phone ring 5 times and then heard brianna's voice mail message.
"she must still be sleeping" melanie whispered.
"oh" chelsea said. melanie and chelsea sat at the table quietly, watching the tip of the sun start to come out.
suddenly melanie's phone started ringing. "I'M WAITING FOR YOU RIGHT OUTSIDE. THE PLACE WE FIRST LOCKED EYES. I FEEL LIKE WE'RE BOTH-"
"hello??" melanie answered.
"Heyyyyy!!!" Brianna said. "sorry i just got back from wal-mart to pick up the CD! i actually convinced my dad to bring me to walmart this early. i barely got any sleep last night."
"tell me about it." melanie said tiredly. "well we're gonna go do chelsea's hair now. bye BFF!"
melanie and chelsea with her new 'do walked into the kitchen two hours later when they heard megan walking up the stairs.
"i thought you guys would already be up" megan said while yawning.
"yeah. i didnt even sleep last night!" chelsea said smiling.
the three girls walked over to the kitchen table and ate some peanut butter crunch. suddenly megan's phone satarted ringing. she put it on speaker and all three girls answered with a hello at the same time.
"GOODMORNING!" they heard the three most amazing voices in the world, joe nick and kevin.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" melanie girly screamed.
"SHUT UP! ITS ONLY 6:00 IN THE MORNING!!" megan whisper yelled.
"sorry im still not used to this random calling stuff." melanie whispered.
"so are you guys excited?" kevin asked.
"oh just a tad bit. i mean, not that we only got 15 minutes of sleep last night cuz we were so excited or anything" chelsea answered. they all started laughing.
CHAPTER 12 ON THE ROAD
They were all on the road by 4:00 PM. It had taken them 3 hours to decide on what to do with their hair, makeup, and accesories. then get into their pajamas for ultimate road-trip comfort.
"ok we're almost to wal-mart. get your purses and crap out guys" melanie said.
"WE LOVE THE JONAS BROTHERS! WOOOOO!!!" all three girls screamed as they linked arms and ran into walmart. they ran into the front doors and ran straight back to the electronics section without even saying hi to the door greater.
They got back into the car after buying their CD's and putting up with the weird look the lady at the cash register gave them. Then immediatly popped a CD into the cd player in the car.
"turn it to 'A little bit longer'!" megan yelled from the backseat.
"Of course" melanie and chelsea mumbled under their breaths.
after listening to the whole CD about three times in silence melanie decided to turn down the music and call brianna.
Melanie: HEY! are you on your way yet?
Brianna: yeah we just started driving about a half hour ago.
Melanie: cool cool.
Brianna: so how do you like the CD?
Melanie & Chelsea & Megan: LOVE IT!!
Melanie: ok well we will see you soon at the hotel!!
Brianna: BYE!!!
the jonas brothers made sure to get a hotel room for the girls to spend the night at after the party. They had also gotten both brianna and melanie's dads their own hotel rooms near the girls.
CHAPTER 13 PRE-PARTY
Megan, Melanie, Chelsea and Melanie's dad walked into the hotel lobby and saw Brianna and her dad sitting on two lounge chairs. Melanie ran up to Brianna to give her a hug.
Both dad's went up to the front desk to check in. The girls followed.
"HELLOOOOO!!!" Melanie said to the lady at the front desk while everyone cracked up. They were so hyper they were runnign all over the place.
"did you make sure their room got child-proofed?" melanie's dad asked the lady jokingly.
the girls got their key and ran up to the elevator button and pressed about a bajillion times. after waiting for about 5 seconds, they opted for the stairs.
They got up to the hallway where their room was when melanie said, "i wonder what kind of room they got us."
after spending two minutes trying to open the hotel room door with those magnetic cards they opened the door to see the most amazing room ever. it had four rooms. each with a queen size bed and flat screen tv. it had a mini-kitchen stocked with breakfest brakes for in the morning and a little living room area where chelsea found a note. it said--
Hey girls! I hope you like the room we got you. We always like having a chance to give our amazing fans special treatment. Can't wait to see you girls at the party! Love, Joe Nick and Kevin.
"awwww" the four said in unison. there was a knock on the door and melanie raced over to get it.
"HELLOOO!!" she said again. it was the bellboy with their luggage.
"thank you" brianna said to the bellboy when he walked in and delievered everyone's luggage to their rooms. melanie gave him a tip when he left then ran into her room to get dressed.
when everyone was dressed they all walked into the living room area and turned on disney channel. it was a commercial. then the "burning up" music video came on and everyone screamed. especially brianna who stood on the couch and pointed at the tv trying to talk and almost fell off. megan grabbed the remote and turned up the TV as high as it would allow and they all started singing. after the video was over they heard another knock on the door and brianna went to asnwer it. it was brianna's dad and melanie's dad.
"oh dont you girls look cute" brianna's dad said.
"PICTURE TIME!" melanie's dad said as he got out a camera to take a group picture of the girls.
they all got into a pose against the wall and when melanie's dad was about to take a picturesoemone came up to the doorway that was left open. then someone said "hey what about us? dont we get to be in the picture too?" everyone turned to see none other than kevin joe and nick jonas.
"AHHH!!!" Melanie screamed one more time then rushed over to give them all a hug.
brianna and megan trailed after her and also greeted them with a hug. chelsea stood there, eyes, wide, mouth open, and speechless.
megan started to say "joe, kevin, nick this is chelsea. chelsea, this is--"
"THE JONAS BROTHERS!" she finally screamed.
"hey" joe siad then walked over to give her a hug. nick and kevin did the same.
"you've got some pretty cool friends here" kevin told chelsea.
"well are you girls ready to go?" nick asked.
"yep" they all answered.
"well lets go. follow me" joe said.
melanie, megan, brianna, and chelsea followed the jonas brothers outside in star-struck silence.
"OH MY GOSH!" melanie screamed when she saw what they were taking to get to the party.
"WOW" chelsea said.
"very original chelsea" megan laughed.
kevin opened the door to let the girls into a big, black, limo. "by the way. i like your tutu's. its a cool fashion statement" he added.
"really?" melanie asked as her face lit up.
when they were all in the limo, brianna explained to kevin that it was melanie's idea to wear tutu's.
"you've got quite an imagination" kevin told melanie, who was sitting right next to him.
"thanks i geuss. i hear that a lot." she said not knowing if it was a compliment.
"well its a good thing." kevin said with his signature half smile. "your a really cool girl"
melanie blushed not paying attention to anyone else in the limo. despite the fact that megan and nick were in deep conversation about how megan started a converse trend in our town, chelsea was laughing hysterically at joe because of his attempt to impress her, and brianna playing along with joe's joke.
CHAPTER 14 PAR-TAYY
After fighting to get through a crowd of papparazi, they got into the building where the party was being held. Kevin put his hand on Melanie's back when they walked through the door and she got a chill up her spine. When they saw the party the girls couldn't believe their eyes.
"WOW! this is..is..is.." chelsea stammered.
"AMAZING!" Brianna finished.
there was a huge, larger than life picture of the jonas brothers new cd cover plastered on one of the walls, at least 4 ginormous tables of food throughout the whole place, incredible lights flashing all over, the jonas brothers music playing on the speakers, games like guitar hero and DDR in a nearby room, and familiar stars crowding up the place.
"omg Demi Lovato!" megan said.
"can you intoduce us to her PLEASE?" chelsea asked joe.
"sure" he said as he strutted up to Demi. "Hey Demi! having fun?!" he asked her then gave her a hug.
"yeah. this party is so amazing!" she replied.
"thats exactly what i said" brianna told her.
"oh by the way" joe said "this is melanie, megan, chelsea, and brianna. they are big jonas brothers fans. and they're really awesome. they helped us find the mall thise one time."
"Hey!" demi said to the girls.
"you are really good actress..... and singer. u have a really great voice." melanie said.
"thank you!" demi said.
after that all four girls split apart....
MELANIE--
after saying hi to Demi she started ambling around looking totally clueless until kevin came up to her and grabbed her hand.
"come on!" he said dragging her across the room.
"where are you dragging me too?!!" she asked.
"megan just told me that you love guitar hero! lets go!" he yelled over the music.
"im going to play guitar hero with KEVIN JONAS" melanie thought to herself while she had another starstruck moment.
they got into the room with all the games and each picked up a guitar.
"soo what level are you on?" kevin asked.
"well i can do expert. but im better on hard." melanie answered.
"HARD IT IS!" kevin said. "what song do you wanna do?"
"ummm....." she scrolled down the list of songs "OH THIS ONE!!" she said as she selected cliffs of dover.
"good choice" kevin smiled again. melanie blushed, she would never get used to seeing that beautiful smile in person. suddenly she heard the "mess up" noise on guitar hero and struggled to catch up with the notes.
"HEY!" she said "you did that on purpose!" she said as she hip-checked kevin.
"did what on purpose??" he asked.
"gave me that heart-melting smile of yours" she said while still playing the guitar.
"haha" he laughed. "what am i just supposed to frown all the time?" he asked. melanie noticed that he was totally winning.
"no" she giggled "like i said, i love your smile"
"urs isnt too bad either" he said, finally taking his eyes off the screen and looking at her. melanie stared at his hazel eyes.
then she noticed she missed about 15 notes on guitar hero. but she didn't complain this time.
MEGAN && BRIANNA--
After nick introduced them to Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and a couple other people the three decided to play DDR. They walked into the game room and Megan noticed that Kevin and Melanie were playing guitar hero, but they were both just kinda standing there staring at each other. she laughed to herself. Nick decided to let Megan and Brianna play against each other first.
"ahhh!!" megan said as she missed three arrows. brianna started laughing. when the song was over, Brianna won.
" i have this game at home " she explained.
"well that explains a lot!" megan said. nick started laughing then said "i'll play winner."
"ok well im gonna go get something to drink. do you guys want anything?" megan asked.
"diet coke" nick said.
"what a surprise" megan said laughing. " brianna what do you want???"
"ohoh. uhhh.. lemonade vitamin water" she asnwered.
megan walked out of the room and made her way to the drinks table. on her way there, chelsea and joe surrounded her and started dancing like crazy. then yelled "WOOOOOO!!!!" in her face and ran off laughing. "what a perfect match." megan thought. she brought the drinks over to brianna and nick. brianna had a smile on her face. and nick looked exhausted.
"im geussing brianna won again" she said.
"YEP!" brianna said proudly. the three walked back into the main room when a slow song came on. some guy named Chris with dark blonde hair and blue eyes came up and asked Brianna to dance. Megan looked at Nick.
"oh." he said starting to laugh. " do you wanna dance?"
"sure. why not" she said.
after they got done dancing they decided to sit down at a table and eat soem food.
megan and brianna started whispering to each other and nick looked very confused.
"ahem" he said "i feel kinda left out here" he said.
then he heard a "no you ask him" come from megan. "fine!" brianna whispered.
"ummmmm im sorry but we just had to ask you this. is it true or not that you and miley went out?" brianna asked hoping he didnt get offended.
"no we never did." he said. "i dont blame you for being curious. the things that miley told reporters just twisted up the rumors more. like telling this one magazine that i love her. anyways we were good friends for a while, but we kinda went out seperate ways."
"oh" megan said.
"well that clears things up" brianna said laughing.
CHELSEA--
After Nick, Kevin, Melaine, Megan, and Brianna all went there seperate ways. Joe and Chelsea stood there kind of awkwardly.
"are you thirsty??" joe asked.
"um yeah" chelsea said. they walked over to the drinks and chelsea picked up a vault and popped it open.
"mmmm" she said as she took a drink, then noticed joe had also gotten a vault.
"well i have to admit i can get a little crazy after drinking a couple of these." she said while laughing.
"thats ok... so is there anyone here you want to meet or anything..?" joe began to ask,
"OH MY GOSH I LOVE THIS SONG!" chelsea cut him off when she heard the song 4 Minutes come on over the speakers.
"well lets go dance then.." joe said as he pulled her onto the dance floor.
before they knew it they had created a new game where they would surround people and dance crazily to get the party going. after about 10 minutes of the game they decided to take a rest and eat some chips.
"your a really fun girl to be around" joe said as he looked chelsea in the eyes.
chelsea almost choked on her chips. then swallowed and said "thanks" while blushing. she looked up at joe and touched his hair.
"its getting a little curly." she said "what about mine???"
"just a little wavy" he said. "but thats ok. its beautiful."
chelsea smiled and joe led her to the dance floor once more for a slow dance.
CHAPTER 15 POST PARTY
The party ended around 10:30 and everyone was going home. Megan, Chelsea, Brianna, and Melanie were trailing behind the jonas brothers as they said goodbye and thanked everyone.
when they were about to leave megan said "well" as she looked at nick.
"well" joe said as he looked at the girls.
"WELL lets go back to our hotel and rent a couple movies. i drank way too much caffiene to fall asleep now." melanie said.
they arrived at the hotel and moved around everything in the living room so that there were a whole bunch of pillows and blankets set up on the floor. the decided on a couple different movies to rent then got situated. like you probably would have geussed, melanie got comfortable next to kevin, brianna and megan surrounded nick and joe sat close to chelsea. they ended up not watching the movies but talking on and on until it was around 12:00, when they had nothing else to talk about and got pretty tired. melanie layed her head on kevin's shoulder, he looked down at her and smiled. joe put his arm around chelsea and megan kinda just layed down across everyone. melanie fgave her a look.
"what? im tired." megan said.
"haha. i know. you do that all the time. just you usually find someone else's shoulder to lay on." melanie laughed.
"i would lay on urs like usual but your way over there and i would lay on nicks but his arms are too muscular." she said. everyone laughed.
"what?!" nick said.
"ok fine." megan said. she put her head on his shoulder and he put his arm around her.
"awww" brianna said.
"too bad derek's not here. right?" melanie said to brianna. derek was her boyfriend.
"yeah" she said. "OH WELL!"
"nice" joe said.
a couple hours later melanie noticed she had fallen asleep when she woke up with a blanket over her and noticed kevin, nick, and joe were about to leave.
"WAIT!" she whisper-yelled then ran across the dark room trying not to trip over chelsea, megan, and brianna. she saw herself in the mirror on her way and said "oh wow i look great. thats what i get for falling asleep" she referred to her smudged eyeliner and crazy curled hair.
"i think you look beautiful" kevin said as he walked behind her. she turned around.
"really? thanks, i didnt really think-" kevin cut her off by kissing her. then gave her a hug. she felt like the luckiest girl in the world and the saddest at the same time. she was going to miss them. she felt a tear stream down her face. kevin whiped it away and whispered in her ear "i'll miss you."
"bye guys." she said as they walked out the door. then she went over and woke up brianna.
"what?" brianna asked tiredly.
"the jonas brothers left" melanie whispered.
"ok. thats all you woke me up for???" she asked looking annoyed.
"oh yeah. and i just got my first kiss from kevin jonas." she said with a smile.
"good for you!" brianna said sounding genuinely excited.
"i just thought i would tell my best friend. good night." melanie said before brianna fell back asleep. she went into her room to get her pajamas on. when she took of her pants she noticed something int he pocket. it was a note from kevin.
"he must of put this in there, thinking i wasnt going to wake up" she thought.
